  1. Ver nice car, shows how much time youve put into it! I noticed you had a toda flywheel, how do you find it?
  2. Found this great website that streams all the popular tv shows: http://tvlinks.50webs.com/ hope you all like it!
  3. looks great! although not sure on that bonnet protector, looks a little tacky imo. but i guess it serves a purpose.
  4. Castrol Edge 0W-40 if your willing to spend a bit extra, but will provide optimal protection.
  5. Go clutch and flywheel, power and speed always costs practicality. I've got a really fantastic place that does exedy clutches, they've done my car as well as about 10 freind's cars. I'll PM you the address now. Go for the exedy sport organic over the heavy duty, heaps of clamping pressure and nice and bitey! It should take a fair bit off your 1/4 mile and 0-100 times when you learn to shift to compensate for the new differences.
  6. www.fulcrumsuspensions.com.au might be able to rebuild them
  7. what paint did you use kaze stivo for those wheels? looks fan **** tastic
  8. good point black200, that was another reason why i got my teins.
  9. I have a set of Tein coilovers in my corolla, although i cannot compare them to Cusco's, D2's of G4's, in my opinion they are a very good coilover. They have the ability to be very very tight and very sturdy and gives you the choice to have any ride hight desired, my only problems are they can be bouncy and uncomfortable on bad roads. The front seats are ok, but my passangers fight for the front seat because the rear ones are very painful. Then again i bought them for a specific purpose and for myself not my passangers. I also choose Teins because they are locally distributed (e.g. Fulfrum Suspension) and offer services to rebuild the coilovers, where as this is not available for Cusco's. On another note, $3000 for Cusco's Zero2's is to expensive, i was quoted between $2200-2400. As for Teins they are around the $1700-1800 mark.
  10. any idea as to what mod is required to fit a tein edfc?
  11. i hope this work out, otherwise im going to buy a new induction kit tomorrow arvo for $550 from castle hill toyota. :(

  13. can anyone source a the original or similar replica of the black silicone hose that comes with the TRD kit? Our one has fallen to pieces and we need a new part before the car goes into service at toyota! Anyone have a spare or know where we can get one - if not, how big and what degree bend is itself. I need a new one before tuesday next week or i can wave bye bye to my warranty :o Alternatively, if anyone knows where to get one, can they get me one, and i'll pay you for your troubles!!!
  14. im looking at getting some defi din gauges too, i spotted them cheaper on skyline australia for $700 from a trader
  15. think not of the temperature of the air, but of the volume of air.
  16. go there for sure man. Official Exedy distributor.
  17. Hell no!!!! ill race any sportivo changing before lift and i am positive that in a quarter mile ill whop!! In saying that im reving to 6500rpm. The 2zz has less touque thus the 1zz tends to keep up intill 2nd to 3rd gear change when they use lift!! check the 1/4 mile times. look at 330ft and 660ft times Now take lit out of the equation... food for thought :P You're just upset because you dont have lift. Stop bieng so competative...2zz>1zz :D
  18. 1:16 is a very respectable time for a sportivo! I know dc2's can do around 1:11 with some big skill behind the wheel...so lets see how close the corolla boys can get :D not too bad for a four door shopping trolley hey :D
  19. get rid of that lexus badge QUICKSMART. Car looks great, but that L badge plain ruins it man. You don't want a lexus. old people drive lexus
  20. seen this around wollstonecraft a few times. Has some real presence. nice ride ;)
  21. clutch and flywheel are two separate items. I reccomend the exedy sport-organic clutch for both corollas. Its exactly the same clutch that TRD stocks (exedy make all the clutches for TRD). if you're thinking of replacing it, i can put you in contact with a fantastic workshop in rockdale. I take my car there for everything, they're a well known mob and have done quite a few project cars in autosalon and fastfours. check out www.ismotorracing.com just spreading the good word :D
