  1. Painting it sure is tempting, but really cant be bothered.

    MUGG SHOTS!

Good job keeping the thread alive, but was that third photo really necessary? .... Oh ***; my eyes.
  3. I think they were a little more than sad. They were extremely cozy with the brake wear indicator. So much for Toyota picking up on its wear when I had it serviced 2000km ago. They could have mentioned they were going low. Like said, better now than right before or during the Melbourne trip. Maybe while I'm at it, I should paint the callipers like lateralus. Kind of feeling that way right now.
  4. Well lucky we did that run last night and not next week Mick. That run was just enough to push my brake pads right to the end of their life. I was getting some epic squealing on the last part of my drive home last night. My brake pads look a little rooted. I'm stuck at home now for the next couple of hours until someone gets back with a car so I can get myself some new pads.
  5. I'm not sure what you can edit.... or if you even can once there have been votes, but if you click on a full edit for your first post, you should see the poll options at the top of the page.
  6. There's only one car driving down from Brisbane and that would be mine (with mick.wheelz on board). We will be going a route that avoids Sydney all together so we'll meet everyone in Melbourne.
  7. I think Nathan should amend this poll if he can.
  8. Those would look nice especially with your car lowered. They don't look so great at the moment, but that's due to the photoshop. I reckon those would work nicely.
  9. No matter how many times I see that... you know that song "Jizz in my pants"? Well you get the point.
  10. Welcome Paul. Your Camry is pure sex. Nice to see you around. To the Aurion guys, our Aurion's have nothing compared to this guy. His I4 Turbo puts our V6 to shame.
  11. And then add to the fact that the blades are spinning at such and such RPM and then you have the blade pitch etc. This is definitely a question for the engineers out there because my maths stopped at 950km/h.
  12. Very clean. I wanted to spray mine as well and do it properly by taking everything apart, but I'm not confident on the whole ABS brake bleeding procedure. Good work though.
  13. So we'll meet at the loop at say 8pm then?
  14. Yeah. Why not. The tires may not have the full amount of grip, so just bear with the squeal from them. My car isn't here to just sit around and look pretty.
  15. I've got this location where I want to get some photos, but really can't be bothered to do that tonight. I'd just save that for when I'm in Melbourne (hahaha Rowan). It's to the point that if I was to toss up between the two, I would say I'd prefer the Nebo run. Mick... input please.
  16. I agree with number 2 as well.
  17. Well this is going to be an un-eventful night then. Maybe I should just save the tires and the fuel.
  18. These ones definitely look better than the originals. The standard TRD scuff plates are just like the Sportivo ones, except the little plate that says "Sportivo" is replaced with one that says "TRD". I won't be in for this. Unfortunately polished chrome/stainless steel effects just won't work with my car. I'm working on an illuminated version.
  19. Talk about a complex question. So we'll need to be specific here. When you talk about a jet engine, we'll need to stick to a specific usage. You mentioned a 747, so we shall stick to that one then. As well, because the engines on a 747 (and other commercial airliners for that matter) are of the high-bypass turbofan design, did you want the total air that is consumed by just the engine, or the the total air that passes through (the air that is consumed by the engine and the air that bypasses the engine). I'm curious as well now. Either way, it is bound to be a sht load of air going though the engine. Even on ground level:
  20. We already knew that Brisbane is the place to be for the Aurion. I guess the SX6 is a good compromise and seems to sit about the middle of the range.
  21. No answer of use here from me, but it would be inconsiderate if I didn't say hi, so: Hey Jason. I take it the Zed it treating you well. You should post some pics up in this thread once you have the above sorted out. Yeah, the Aurion's are picking up on popularity alright. Rowan is still standing top of his class (Sportivo). Even though you don't have it anymore, your AT-X will remain top of the class as well until someone comes along to beat it. And a big thanks again for establishing communication with Thailand. Because of that, getting grills and now eyelids are so much easier.
  22. Good point. Well I'm in for tonight. Any other takers?
  23. Because back then things were made pretty rock solid inside and the hit usually travelled to everything inside. Now they are made with so much plastic that when you hit it, the plastic absorbs the shock instead. ... Just a though. Funny you mention that though. We have an old-school widescreen CRT TV. It may be big and heavy, but the picture on it beats any LCD on the market. The image on it does play up every now and again, and the perfect solution is to give it a good whack on the top.
  24. But why? Being the only one of the kind there would be great. I know if I was the only one with a particular car there; I'd feel great. As said... you gotta represent. Keep your hopes up. The weather man predicted that it would be raining over here for like a week since last Wednesday or whatever. So much for that happening.
  25. The plan was 8pm at the loop as per the first post. So what's the go? Do people prefer to go this week, hold off till next week, or do both. I'm only doing a Nebo run one more time before I head to Melbourne next Thursday since my tires have seen enough action for the time-being.
