  1. That'll teach you (figure of speech cause I doubt it will) for taking preference to Harry's over TOCAU.
  2. I'm sure Mintie does. I'll be there by the way.
  3. You are referring to something that already exists (CO2 is more cost efficient): CryO2 CryO2 Air Intake
  4. Simply Red - Fairground ^ Nice frame to freeze on.
  5. I believe he is referring to one of these: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Electric-Supercharger-Turbo-Power-Intake-System-/260837775512?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cbb249898#ht_5346wt_905 Nah mate, it won't affect the fuel MAP at all. The ECU will simply act like it doesn't see it and everything just works. ... Because it really does nothing except make others laugh.
  6. I'm going to back out and pretend I never read this.
  7. Icehouse - Electric Blue http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQpYuC5hayY Edit: Since I was in the mood, I then moved onto: Icehouse - Great Southern Land
  8. You have to have a pretty fat wallet for those eh.
  9. I'm not too sure about internal re-calibration with respect to adjusting the the cluster itself, since this would be where the main error is as the ECU actually sees a different value than the cluster displays, however a kit like this might be something to look at: Jaycar - Speedo Corrector MkII Kit Edit: Damn Trent, you beat me to it while I was busy typing.
  10. It appears the most common problem with mine judging from others is that it is not Rear Wheel Drive.
  11. I see. I didn't realise Ken Blick had intentions to raise money for charity.
  12. Supply and demand mate. You don't see people selling their HP TouchPad's on eBay/Gumtree for $98 do you?
  13. Stainless isn't really necessary. Mild steel would do the job sufficiently if you really didn't want to spend too much. It's not like our Eastern weather is going to rust a hole in the pipe.
  14. Oh G** it looks effing ugly. Yuck. I agree with you there that the white certainly looks the best... even for the Sportivo's. Shame I haven't seen a 3500SL. I just wouldn't be able to put up with a 3500S. I just love the Smart Entry way too much.
  15. The looks so rice.
  16. Judging from the fact that it still has a hub ring on it, it would seem that they have based them on the C5 blanks and just drilled them. Not that it matters, I just though they would have had a new rotor without the need for the ring (ie. save just that little bit more per rotor... a $15 saving per rotor isn't something I'd turn down). I hope they hurry with those rears. I'm up to 106,000km and I don't know how much longer I can go for.
  17. Well from here, provided you have locked yourself out, about the only option you have is to take it to Toyota. Expect to pay them around $30 though to do so. Considering you can get basic CD/MP3 head units for around $98 or so, it may be more worth it just to replace it. Edit: Even $88 will get something that does the trick if you aren't after MP3 playback. But with a front AUX input, you can plug your iPod or whatever into it. Super Cheap Auto - Sony CD Player - CDXGT180
  18. Realistically though, do we really think we can "feel" a 10Nm increase when we are talking about a few hundred Nm overall?
  19. Man I envy you.
  20. If I heard that advice, I'd be questioning the quality of advice I'd be getting from that person. From my own experience, I have not found the Varex to cause any loss in power or an increase in fuel consumption. I had a pair fitted in March 2009 (see "DJKOR's Aurion" & "GOT MY VAREX =]") and considering that afterwards I had remained just as heavy-footed... or increased... my fuel consumption figures did not go bad. If anything, they probably improvedd slightly, but that could have been many other factors. Anyways, you can see my fuel consumption trends here: Aurion Fuel Consumption (Excel Spreadsheet) My quarter mile times weren't affected as well. Actually I had one of my best runs with said aftermarket exhaust fitted (see here) but once again, there could have been a number of other factors at play. As for when the Varex is closed, I can't quite say. I rarely ever closed mine and after seeing how much of a restriction it cam be when closed, I never really liked the idea. Personally, I would suggest to save your money and just get a pair of good quality high-flow mufflers. The Varex are pretty much a gimmick.
  21. Good to see members kind enough to share what they have just learnt. Answers need to come from somewhere and if you don't feel like sharing, then that's just greedy. Edit: I found something like this. I'm not sure if it is the procedure or not.
  22. Saw their commercial on TV for their Australian Tour, which led to me listening to some songs. Current one: Hall and Oates - Private Eyes
  23. Asking a favour from us without first introducing yourself or helping others out isn't exactly going to make others keen on "helping you out". Not to mention, your first survey seems targeted to those living in Singapore and the models listed in it are not even available in Australia.
  24. I wouldn't be concerned about the jagged edges on it. The way the cover clips on it, that area will have no bearing on it. It clips on the outer edges only.
  25. I like the way you think.
