  1. Well its a twice a year thing :P :P :P n hey u saw my car clean @ the Melb Annual meet remember :P :P :P hahahaha yes those damn hoovers r machines lol
  2. lol duy .... r u sure ur speedo isnt out ? .... u knw gauges are known to develop faults over time .... it may only be affecting higher speeds or getting worse at higher speeds which is why its visible then and only in the higher gears.
  3. lol jase ..... looking good mate ..... so wen r u going to unleash it on the track ?
  4. up on the dyno for a tune touch up
  5. any additional news jason .... been a while since u posted up
  6. Lets do some rough math ... 2000 for the S/C including shipping .... only issue here is u dunno if its all in good working condition .... lets assume it is and u dont need to do much. 2000 for Apexi PFC + wiring (unless ur putting it in a celica in which case this isnt needed) + tune new brakes .... u looking at BBK or just better rotors n pads? a BBK will set u back atleast 1500-2000 1000 for LSD 1000 for exhaust an extra K or 2 for labour .... yeah u might be able to get away with spending 10K ..... only issue is the 2nd hand s/c kits and what condition it might be in. Also from memory the corolla blitz kit had a different part number from the celica blitz kit so if ur profile is correct and u own a celica then this might mean more mods or even potentially the kit not fitting properly .... not too sure what the differences are but obviously there are differences given the different part numbers.
  7. Just adding some more info based on a PM I recently sent
  8. if its an after market gear knob are u sure there isnt a small screw somewhere around the sides of the knob that you tighten to press against the shift rod to kinda hold it in place ? I have seen this previously on aftermarket knobs. A very bodgy solution but it can do the job .... just a thought
  9. Buying it through import monster is probably the best way to purchase this. http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?url=http://page3.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/c371653184&thumb=http://auctions.c.yimg.jp/f66batchimg.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/users/1/8/5/4/powergroup_shinethu-thumb-1363011604015409.jpg&title=ZZE123
  10. Blitz I believe ceased manufacturing a few years back .... U can still source the GReddy e.g. http://www.monkeywrenchracing.com/product_info.php?cPath=26&products_id=600 however I preferred the blitz because it was intercooled and had a clutch type mechanism to kinda emulate switching off the charger. Ur other option is to get something like a rotrex which is a generic supercharger but yeah then it's not really a kit ..... Keep in mind most of this stuff is built for the celica and the only kit I saw that was for the corolla was the blitz .... So there is still going to be a bit of fiddling to get it all going.
  11. The latest addition to the flight deck .... But I think I need to move the Wideband gauge to the other side.
  12. The latest addition to the flight deck .... But I think I need to move the Wideband gauge to the other side.
  13. Finally got around to putting the brakes on
  14. have a read of the below .... but as stated not enough people follow it and we simply dont have the population in australia to follow all the different sports. I still remember going to a regular season NBA game in LA and the amount of people there it was as is it was the NRL grand final. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_Production_Car_Championship http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_Manufacturers%27_Championship
  15. Given that its a zze123 i.e. sportivo it will be manual. There are so many reasons why this could be happening as mentioned it could be the spark plugs are done it could be u have a coil pack no longer working it could be a dirty maf sensor it could be the butterfly valve in ur T/B is not functioning properly as dumb as this sounds it could also be that ur 2 front tyres are flat without a proper drive of the car from someone who knows a bit about cars its hard to say where ur issue is
  16. Pffft why would u wanna look at that celica when u can check out a modded sportivo :spiteful: :spiteful: hahaha j/k Lylee ..... latest pics make ur beast look good. Check out my ride thread in my signature for sportivo specific stuff I would also suggest reading this write up - http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/26862-force-feeding-your-corolla-have-a-read/ U aint ever going to find a kit that is going to fit the stivo .... if ur not prepared to do any R&D then dont start modifying this car beyond bolt ons. if u do any of this sort of stuff u r gonna need to get it engineered Im pushing out almost 250kw's at the wheel and thats what u can expect if you f/i it with all the bells n whistles & so if u dont deal with the additional upgrades required to support that sort of power & get it to pass engineering then it simply aint safe for u n those around u. Like i said above .... read my other thread and have a good thought about things because its really painful to quit a project half way through bcuz of lack of planning.
  17. i found when i had kings on the car that after a while the car sat about 1/2-3/4 of an inch lower and then it pretty much settled at that height. that could possibly be it ?
  18. LOL yes .... i got no idea how to use this thing .... probably should add that i dont know much about photography in general ..... LOL .... i really should do some reading up on the matter ..... ok i will try ur advice
  19. mucking around with a newly bought DSLR so thought i'd throw some pics up ..... oh n yes the car has been washed ;) ;) ;)
  20. some insight regarding the trd black pads .... i ran these on the rear previously but they only lasted 12-18mths ..... from factory the OEM ones lasted for 3-4 yrs and have since swapped the TRD black pads out for OEM's and once again they are going on 2+ yrs ..... the rears on our ride performs hardly any work and probably does more to stabalise the car under braking more than anything ..... the fronts on the other hand cop a battering ;) ;) ;)
  21. atleast it all worked out ..... u could give ebay a try or just google around .... only issue with this approach is u wont now if its gonna be right until after u buy it ..... as the first filler kit i got didnt quiet work out so u might have a few trial and error scenarios.
  22. adaptronic, hydra, motec etc are all options but all will require some work to get going ..... top of mind u might get away with the motec being true plug n play given it was being run on the APCC racing sportivo but keep in mind the motec will be 2-3 times the price last time i checked. oh and yeah u r gonna need to run an external temp gauge for water temp because the stock one will stop functioning
  23. i could be wrong but i have a feeling the body computer on the celica controls the A/C regulation and we dont really have one so it might be the case .... i have it happen on occasion .... easiest way ive found to get it back to normal is to either turn the a/c on/off or turn the steering wheel to apply electrical load and it just settles down ...... oh and Duy stop sulking :P :P :P :P and enjoy ur car
  24. LOL .... yes also spotted Jonny juvenile .... gave u a beep as we rounded the corner turning onto king georges ..... which in hindsight probably wasnt the best thing to do in that situation .... LOL
