Unfortunately Yesterday at the dyno was the first time i hit lift in about 2 and a half weeks. So with that said i'd have to agree, although i did start hitting lift from 35k's onwards. I should of stayed longer though, would of been good to see the other cars like Danz, and Bangn's type S eater. Anyways.. dyno days done, how bout a day at the track? Never been and got nothing to prove, but i thinking it'd be great fun (Especially if we have a large turn up like yesterday). Just a suggestion

DEFINITELY.. but suspension work first (Dont u reckon it sits too high?) not to mention saving up.. :( Next dyno ill invite people from Ozcelica.com. Im guessing im the only Celica going and i doubt i'd even make the "BEST N/A" category coz perfomance wise im stock as a rock with low k's. First time doing this, just wondering if weight makes a difference in the power output?

Im no rolla driver, but i saw a black stivo yesterday driving close to me from ballarat rd till st. albans rd. Had a MRRUNX plate. Anyways ive seen alot of stivos around now but ur car i give 2 thumbs up! very nice ride. B)

Thanks for the advise guys and yes Xoom it is the large rear panel your talking about. It doesnt seem like much paint has been lost from it, would i be able to just get it pushed back out without repainting? I would think that they would have to take my car apart to do this which im not really a fan of, so i think ill just live with it for the moment unless i get a quote im happy with. <_<

Well recently I discovered that some ***** had slammed their door into the left side panel of my car. The dent isn’t that bad, however I always like to keep my car clean and as soon as the light shines on it, it’s very noticeable. I also blame the fact that it’s black. :( Anyways it’s really getting to me just for the fact I KNOW its there. Has anyone here had this happen to them and got it fixed? How much would this roughly cost to fix? The dent is not that deep and roughly 2cm by 1cm big. Also can anyone recommend a good repair shop or service around Melbourne who won’t quote me a ridiculous price and get the work done quick and clean. I have gotten a few quotes already but the prices I thought were just bull$#1^. Would u guys get it fixed no matter what it cost, or just learn to live with it? Any advice would help thanks.

I used a hair dryer and tweezers to remove my vvtl-i stickers and that ugly dealer sticker on the rear window as some people had suggested this method. Heat it up and it should be alot easier to remove with no sticky remains depending how old the sticker is. Just remember it can get pretty hot! Hopefully that helps.

Love the 6th gen GT4's :D Haven't seen one around Melbourne though? only the 5th gens Black 05 7th gen here also from Melb. Adamayess i think i've seen ur car b4, i also have a 7th gen with a trd kit. I've seen a total of 4 celicas in my life time with the full trd kit, another black one, red one, silver and white most likely urz because i remember ur wing. Anyways let me know how ur turbo conversion goes. I'd love to do the same but i dont want to void my warranty. Btw, i saw this very nice black celica @ amf bowling centre highpoint and once again on dynon rd. No wing, looks like a full veilside kit, white lightweight hp racings rims, lowered, and black tail lights if i can remember... wonder if anyone of you here owns it?

Congratz on ur car, im a new celica zr owner myself. I've got about 2000 k's on it nows. Anyway from what dealers tell you and what most people would too is to not drive your car hard for the first 1000 k's or so. Maybe you should take a look at this website http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm. Its just good to know, but its up to you whether you do it or not. Maybe you've read about this b4, but incase you havent i just thought u'd like to know. Personally, i've tried this method myself coz i wanted the most out of my new engine. I didnt overkill it though, just hit lift about 7 times over the 1000 k period and ALSO made sure my engine was warmed up b4 driving hard. Let me tell you, on my 1000 k service they asked if i've even taken it above 3k coz they thought i drove like a granny. The second thing is, ive heard from alot of ppl that shifting on 7800rpms (red line) its impossible to land on lift. Well i dont know if its because of how i broke-in my engine, but landing on lift in gears other than 1st to 2nd is not problem at all shifting on that rpm. 1st to 2nd is more a 50/50 chance unless i take it all the way to fuel-cut off. Just adding my own input, hopefully it helps you out. Congratz on the car though, lift rocks! And Black, nice choice of colour :P

51EKA I'd love a drop but the thing is when i drive out of the basement parking @ work its really steep and i always have to angle my car and drive really slow. I've scraped it once already (very very tiny scratch, but i KNOW its there) and that really ****** me off since my cars not even lowered, so i guess lowering my car would be out of the question. Suks grozzy Well im from melb and i got mine @ the dealers wen i bought my car. They also painted and fitted it for me. I paid $4500 for it which was apperantly half the price.... Might be alil pricey but it is under toyota warrenty and getting insurance on it didnt boost up my premium since it was done by toyota.

As for the 05 models, i thought they only stopped production for celica's in america but if mine was one of the last models made completely, den thats awesome! Hi all, Just picked up my new 05 Blk Celica ZR with a full sportivo kit 2 days ago and im wrapt :D . Hopefully i can get good replys from these forums wen i actually start modding up my car.
