  1. Just wondering where did my car's introduction thread disappear? I just came here to update it as some more bits have arrived now. Couldn't find it anywhere. WTF admins??
  2. Yeah depends on offset and tyres you are going to fit. Impossible to say without knowing those specs.
  3. Sorry for late reply mate. The car's not mine so dunno about the details. I've seen Auris also with genuine wooden NARDI :) if you want something different!
  4. Sure it's possible, why wouldn't it be? You can go for facelift steering wheel, or then install genuine sports steering wheel for your model made by Toyota. Or the third option is something without airbag
  5. DGR is very good no complaints. I have heard about many people using them for their projects and no problems whatsoever. The quality is at the same level with BC Racing.
  6. Maybe it's the camera or my sound setup of speakers, but it sounds very very loud and disturbing. For occasional cruising it may be allright, but if you need to drive longer period and especially on higher speed... Oh well. What's the engine and is it possible to make a clip on the outside? I have Auris (ZRE152) year model 2007 and I'm considering cat back system. My engine is 1.6.
  7. If you're asking that question, usually it means you will need someone to do it for you :D
  8. Well, you can always live in your car, but never drive your house... :D
  9. Hello guys! I'm looking at exhaust upgrade and decided to ask for advice. At the moment I have Remus back box and it sounds nice, very professional and fine tone, no farting or disturbing noise. Also it cannot be heard inside the cabin. The only downside it may be just a bit too quiet, can be only heard in situation where there's no noise around. I would like it to be just a small bit louder without being disturbing inside. Moslty I want it to be heard when I add some RPM. Would be great to gain some more power too of course! I have been suggested to change the central torpedo silencer to some more flowing sporty one and upgrade piping. Sounds nice, but then I started reading and found thread on this forum where John (dutchie) decribed his update. He had muffler (back box), piping and middle torpedo silencer replaced but he couldn't take the noise so he put his original central torpedo back on and had only custom back box with custom piping and it was all fine. If I will be upgrading, is there anything I could do to get only small noise increase after changing all parts? Or will the sound be very loud and I should leave central torpedo silencer like it is? If I will have to do so should I still upgrade the piping, will it make any difference alone? Or should I just leave the whole system as it is and be happy with what I have? Thanks in advance :)
  10. You can definitely find them cheaper, that guys is selling for most expensive price! Keep looking on the internet, there should be many of them available. But they won't match the colour of your 3rd brake light when lit up, the LEDs have a deeper red colour compared to your stock lights.
  11. I used nite shade you can get it from autobarn but I have currently taken them off and done the frost white taillights with clear coat plastidip .w00t that probably looks cool. Been thinking of using some silver film on mine as the car is silver. Do you know if it's available in silver? Would love to see some pics of how it looks!
  12. Yeah mate done that to my 2007 Auris which. Just route the fog wires with bulbs to headlights and vice versa. When you start the engine the foggies will light up as you have headlight wires connected in there. And when you turn on your parkers (turn switch to next position), your headlights will come on and DRLs will go off. By turning one more time to the night mode (with interior lights on), you will get both, DRLs and headlights on. This will work in case you have same thing from factory as I have in my car. Good luck!
  13. What did you use to smoke your tail lights? Any chance of getting better pics?
  14. VLAN, what is that seat on the left side, the orange one? zre182-rolla, are your rear lights tinted and if yes what did you use?
  15. Brakes stopper... What...? :o
  16. So what do we learn? ALWAYS wash your car yourself, by hand :) Probably this was some lag in sensor, which just didn't recognize the shape of the car so it forced the brush down with full force and the obstacle-detection cut-off did not engage. So it is their responsibility to fix this, contact your insurance company.
  17. Try Subaru rails, just make the holes bigger and should fit allright.
  18. i like to polish john's knob and i get a hard on when i do. Nice hobbies you've got guys! Don't forget to work on his furry dice too in order to double the pleasure ;)
  19. It's been all done before. Not on one car though, but I've seen one with projectors for high beams and one with rings around the projectors...
  20. Did you allready order the BF brake lines?
