  1. $300 is probably a little low for 18's. 18's can also have rubbing issues, especially when lowered.
  2. We have had the VVT-i rattle issue, so I have done a fair bit of experimenting with oil grades. The issue had disappeared since using the 15W-40. I am using Castrol GTX.
  3. You may be able to access it better through the right wheel arch by removing the wheel and any plastic trim.
  4. I use 15W-40 on an engine with 135,000km on it, no issues.
  5. There is only so many unique design that can be created before things start looking similar.
  6. What is the "they" you are referring to?
  7. Did they damage the front bar loading it on the boat?
  8. It's not very clear what you are asking about.
  9. There was a photo around a while ago that someone photoshopped a Maloo rear end on to an Aurion. *edit* Found it.
  10. That's odd, good to see it is fixed though.
  11. Probably a few horsepower at a maximum.
  12. There are parts out there but the scene is not very big. You will need to source a lot of parts from the US. What mods did you have in mind?
  13. Your Owners Manual has the correct grade of oil listed in it.
  14. How long has this been happening? Have you accidently turned the boot key to the left and enabled the valet mode? Does the boot release inside the car open it? Are you able to open the boot with the key?
  15. There are a heap of videos on Youtube of how to do it. I will likely vary on model and key type. Type in: "toyota transponder key programming" and you should find one that is applicable, although it may not be specifically for your model.
  16. Scott has sold many of us parts and is a pleasure to deal with. I just wish he would get more Camry stuff for me. :P
  17. It is probably bridging or arcing across the switch. I would test on ours, however it has the smart start, which eliminates any chance of that happening.
  18. Always hound them, never sit back and wait, because they don't want to part with their money.
  19. Nulon make an intake cleaning product as well. Works well. Minimal without any form of tuning.
  20. I think you would be surprised who Suncorp actually owns and underwrites. There are very few insurance companies left once you rule them out. It would appear that most of this problem was actually caused by an incompetent assessor.
  21. I have in the past, unintentionally. You get a bit of a sharp tingle. Anyway, back on topic.
  22. You will need access to the Toyota software, so basically a dealer, unless you buy a scan tool with the software.
  23. A 12 volt car battery will not electrocute you. I am not saying try this(as it may be corrosive), but you can actually hold both battery terminals with dry hands and not even receive a tingle.
  24. You can use a 3/8" ratchet(it is actually a 10mm square drive tool) to remove the drain bung from the bottom of the housing tabs. The filter housing requires a special tool to prevent damage to the filter housing, especially if you have a 2GR-FE engine with a plastic housing.
  25. Out of curiousity, does it have the left key turn lockout/deadlock feature on the boot lock?
