  1. hello there... I have 2 basic questions: Where do you meet on Thurdsday night? Usually, it is more a nono during the week due to early start in the morning but... never say never! Who/where is Jonno in Ipswich? :D Show up and details may be given.
  2. Please don't follow that video, he really doesn't know what he's doing. Destroyed the sump plug, thinks a heat shield doesn't serve a purpose and believes thicker oil is better so it doesn't get burnt. There are much better generic servicing videos available.
  3. My prices may be cheaper, you will need to re-ring and hone as a minimum. I have JE pistons and Carrillo Rods. Designed for 5S-GTE applications.
  4. Spot on with the coolant. Good idea to burp your baby :P what's burping the system mean ? Bleeding the system of air. champion! i'll do that tomorrow, hopefully toyota have some in stock :) also i heard from someone that toyota long life coolant (red) isn't too friendly on rubber... he said that ford used to use red coolant until it did the same thing and they changed to the green coolant. he said the dye is the culprit. how accurate is this i wonder? full of s**t. The toyota red coolant is awesome. Remember when you remove that plug it will basically drain your whole radiator, so be prepared for that and you'll also have to refill and burp the system afterwoods. can i plug the holes with my fingers while my wife changes the o-ring on the tap? LOL also can i drain the fluid in icecream containers and use it again? of course the fluid must not be contaminated You can try, but you will still lose some.
  5. Spot on with the coolant. Good idea to burp your baby :P
  6. Just STOP...Stop and think, can I do this? To be honest I think you should take it to a professional before you do more damage.
  7. Hit me up when it comes time. I will give you as much info as I can in regards to prices and where I purchased mine.
  8. They all vary. It's an immobiliser remember. Designed to stop people from disconnecting it and stealing your car. You might have to get it towed to an auto electrician.
  9. I do have to agree with your iPad, but thats where I'll leave it. :P
  10. Another one, really? Pointless product. /Close Thread.
  11. Injector pulse can be checked using a screwdriver as a stethoscope. Does the car have any issues at all running, ie sluggish, heavy fuel usage, excess fuel smell in the exhaust vapour, etc.?
  12. OP, please go play in traffic, have a nice day.
  13. Go with Hoppy's, some people can't change at the last minute. Worst case we can move later to the loop.
  14. Either way the combustion engine will never be phased out. After all these years, it is still the same basic design.
  15. You have the E153 box in that now dont you? Makes me wonder if you could use the hubs from a Gen 3 or 4 Camry, but then of course you would need to change your wheels. I think the Caldina and most Celicas up to the ZZ series run the same stud pattern. Not sure of the offsets though and where the caliper mounting bolts are in the same postion.
  16. Don't bother until you do a LOT more mods. Most of those chips are a con to get your money.
  17. Mick's driveway hands down. That thing is stupidly steep.
  18. Come out on Thursday and more details can be given about Johno.
  19. Never had an issue with seat covers, their job is to protect the seats. :)
