  1. Cayenne & Touareg run on Michelin Latitude Sport or Latitude Tour HP I think - only the Tour comes in a suitable size 255/55R19, but not the Sport for some reason :(
  2. I'm not needing tyres yet, but was a little concerned to see how few tyres are available in 245/55R19 with the correct load and speed rating. I know in NSW it's allowable to have a lower speed rated tyre fitted, but it must have the same or higher load rating. In slightly larger 255/55R19 sizing there are a few more offerings, such as; Pirelli Scorpion Zero Pirelli Scorpion ATR Yokohama Advan ST v802 BFGoodrich G-Force T/A kdw None of these sound cheap <_< I'm thinking 255/55's might make a slight improvement on the speedo error too. Anyone got any thoughts, or experience with 19" tyres on their Kluger? Cheers
  3. Welcome MTS :-) I think sand/beige would have been a lot better for me living where I do... My black interior shows up every fingermark, boot scuff and white horse-hair the kids can bring inside the car...
  4. Ohh exciting week for you guys coming up :) Will try and find out what my dealer used, only the fronts were tinted as the rear privacy glass has UV protection - see this post. Will let you know what I find out about mine. Cheers
  5. Welcome Glug - there is some info here on brake controllers - Prodigy seems popular, take note that the installer doesn't mount it where it will interfere with the operation of the driver's knee airbag hope that helps Cheers
  6. I haven't yet tried mine in rough stuff, but in serious mud on stock tyres it out-drove a Pajero that was tagging along. I found the following info in this review - hope that helps :)
  7. Blackkluger is on the money - it's the auto-answer setting on the Kluger headunit. Press the green button, turn the left dial to select auto-answer and press to turn it off, OR if you want to use auto-answer you could always disable call-waiting on your handset? Cheers
  8. Cleaned the inside on the weekend, and re-treated the seats with the Meguiars Rich leather conditioner. Much easier than the first time I did it, as the leather wasn't as dry. I probably won't touch it again until the beginning of summer, just a wipe over every now-and-then to keep it clean. I'm disappointed at how easily the black plastic trim shows up fingermarks and boot scuffs, but it seems to wipe clean easily enough :)
  9. Wihle I'm with you Kruzen, I think my wife would be thinking along the lines of Garry's signwriter idea
  10. Been itching to pull the boat from it's wintery hidey-hole in the shed - got the chance this weekend. Tows brilliantly behind the Kluger, I couldn't be happier B) Only problem is the lack of colour-matching, might have to buy a new boat with a red stripe on it Cheers
  11. Like Taka says, definitely DON'T sit there with the engine running waiting for it to warm up - slow driving and easy on the throttle for the first few mins is quickest and most economical IMHO B)
  12. Sorry about that - I'll have them removed for your next visit
  13. Welcome Trina - That would be a 2WD Kulger at that price? Congrats
  14. Don;t be sorry for being proud mate! Hope you get those few minor issues sorted :)
  15. ABSOLUTELY no regrets with the KX-S. I'm definitely glad we took this model over the KX-R, and miss nothing that the Grande has over the KX-S B)
  16. Sorry to hear Landluger - I was lucky enough to find the exact Kluger I wanted on the floor at the local dealer
  17. Someone's going to be having a GREAT weekend!! Congrats B) Show us some pics sometime ;)
  18. It's supposed to be able to show -40 to 50deg C. Worst we'll see here, on the Central West slopes & plains, is -7 on a really frosty morning :o
  19. Can't wait to pull my boat out of the shed again.... 'cos that means a fishing trip
  20. Thanks Sam - will be interested to see how much the economy varies, and any other towing experiences you think are worth passing on. Travel safely in the meantime :)
  21. Given that trailers in Australia have compulsory safety chains, I would think something like this would not be required? I always cross my safety chains, and use load-rated shackles for added security. What are you planning on towing Kruzenvax? Cheers
  22. Nice story and pics Taka :) I haven't seen snow for many years, must take my kids (and the Kluger) one day!!!
  23. I can only comment on the current model Kluger, not the previous model like yours, sorry!
  24. Red definitely stands out amongst the sea of white cars & 4WD's out here... B)
