  1. Nice one taka Mine just clicked over 22,000km
  2. Pic of the antenna mount Kesawi B)
  3. Ahh, I was after minimum fuss for the install so I bought an Electrophone TX3440 with all the controls on the handpiece. The radio body is under the passenger seat, fixed to the carpet with velcro strips. Uniden also have two similar models (UH400 SX-RM & UH500 SX-RM)
  4. Thanks for the link. I will take a pic of the antenna mount tomorrow Kesawi - I have it mounted on the nudgebar with a GME Electrophone antenna bracket The scanguage tells you info such as ignition timing, throttle position, air intake temp, calibrated fuel consumption (if you have altered the tyre size) etc. plus it can clear error codes. I haven't used it in the Kluger as the trip computer is good enough, but in my Triton it's a good piece of gear for various reasons
  5. They are MUCH neater switches than mine Kesawi, I should try and track down one just like that - thanks for the pics, much appreciated mate
  6. The Bluetooth mic in the KX-S is definitely poor (either location or quality). I cannot have a clear conversation with my wife, as her voice just does not come over well at all (some may say that's a good thing?!!)
  7. haha unfortunately not - dealer fitted the switch & relay for driving lights (which I supplied). Can't believe they didn;t try and find a switch that suited the Kluger dash a little better
  8. haha it's taken me nearly 12-months to do th shift-knob!! can't rush these things mate
  9. I sent a Kluger tailgate panel to a US member from the Toyota Nation forums. As part of the exchange I got a sports shift knob, and a Blendmount for my Scanguage (a compact & programmable OBDII reader). The shift knob is very comfy to hold, although I'm worried it could get a little hot in summer Thought I'd post up some pics (although the Scanguage is in my Triton, it can be used in most cars) Please excuse the dirty state of the Kluger interior, comes with the territory unfortunately!! Scanguage with Blendmount, and very nifty way to mount it behind the review mirror
  10. Anyone looked at the Goodyear Wrangler HP AW ? Could be a possibilty, depending on price
  11. Pretty sure you need a special service tool for the oil filter pete, although I haven't looked at mine to verify this! Cheers
  12. Definitely a top deal dazbeer, congrats. Exactly $5.5K less than I paid for my Merlot Red KX-S AWD in June last year
  13. Definitely something amiss there - Mine are quite curved in comparison and are quite springy at the ends to hug the profile of the glass nicely. Is the blade is threaded through every set of guides properly along the length of the arm (especially in the middle)? With the arm off the screen, when I press on my blade in the middle it causes the ends to curve inwards. Hope you get it sorted before it rains again!! Reduced - click to enlarge
  14. Could you please keep us posted in this thread eSEXSIX :)

    KXR on 22's

wow! - hate to think what they must have cost!!

    KXR on 22's

Crotoy has 22's and there are some pics in this thread, gerds (Crotoys pics are towards the end) As far as your insurance goes, you need to at least make sure the load rating of the 22" tyres is the same as what's written in the tyre placard. Rules for rim diameter and width increase vary from state to state, so you would also need to check what applies to you Hope that helps
  17. It is! Are you sure, I thought HID lights had to have washers fitted, therefore retro-fitting to a non-HID setup technically wouldn't be legal?
  18. Thanks Becks, I'd not be out of line by saying that most of Australia is reeling from shock - devastating fires in Victoria and flooding in Queensland, so many families affected - I hope that all our members on here from both states are faring well in this difficult time. Anyway, as per the Toyotanation thread, I'll chase up a price on the Kluger nameplate for anyone that's interested and let you know B) Cheers
  19. Great looking tread kwach - thanks for the pics
  20. I treat my windscreen with RainX (you can get it at any auto accessory store). Great stuff, water beads off easily and the wipers gliiide over the glass :) Cheers
  21. kwach, so you have any pics of the Toyos fitted to your Kluger?
  22. I had a quick look at mine one day, and even removed the rear muffler but the sound was really no different - that great big centre muffler would have to be taken out of the system for there to be any noise changes I think. Not sure what implications (if any) exhaust changes would have to the tune of the engine, I know it runs pretty rich as standard so it's possible there would be no issues... Go on mate, be the guinnea-pig, you know ya want to
  23. Well that ya go, I have learnt something today!
