as long as you realise HIDs are illegal if not properly installed with projector lenses.

If they are installed with standard reflectors they just scatter more light and are more dazzling to oncoming traffic and in people's rear vision mirror. They also do not project light as far as more light is scattered.

The choice is entirely up to you, but I've heard that the po-po are starting to crack down on the use of HIDs that aren't properly installed and do you really want to draw any more unwanted attention to yourself?

I have GTHID 4300K. These give off a light similar to the stock colour. But when you look at them directly they are white.

Just make sure you aim the light downwards so not to blind oncoming traffic. HIDs are very bright and the difference in night time driving is like night and day. When i first got them and didnt adjust them, I was high beamed numerous times at night, but after adjusting i have never got flashed by high beams anymore.

The only way to really make them legal is to retro fit - This is basically chopping your lights up and adding the projector from another light ( Correct me if im wrong )

As to having them without projectors - I have mine aimed all the way down, basically as far as it goes, and i still get flashed on avg once a week.

They are nice for you, the driver, but for other people, they cant see squat

If you wanna go for HID, make sure they are well known brand HIDz (Catz, Beam Boy, Bosch Ultra (normal Bosch are ****)... + make sure the installer know's their electrical.. Otherwise, they'll f*#& up your car..

Be warn, those HID's are expensive ($400+ depends on brand and 'k' + the "ballast" output)

Just make sure you research the brand + it' quality before buy...

like MR22ZZ said; HIDs are illegal, use it with caution...

My GF had replacement bulbs, and they seemed to just Glare, rather then produce useable light.

Usually the cheap ones are crap, phillips are generally produce a decent enough light. But yeah the whiter you go the less you see.

All 3 cars in our family has been using these for almost 3 years now, none had any problems. Maybe you installed them incorrectly

No. Yes.
