2005 Sportivo

Recommended Posts

Hi guys..

ive been reading this forum for the past few days and decided it was time to sign up and say hello..

Im looking at buying a Sportivo in feb 2005..

I rang toyota and they said the face lifted sportivo comes back in Feb..

Only differences are 6 speaker stereo (instead of 4) and a new look.. Price should be about the same..

do you think they will drop the power? or do they realise they are on a good thing?

perhaps they'll work on the common problems your guys have been having?

Im currently driving a 89 Seca CSX and although i love it... its starting to **** me :) especially no air conditioning.. :(

My brother just bought a brand spankers Mazda 3 SP23 and it goes fairly well..

although feels a little cramped in the drivers seat...

Is the sportivo faster than the Mazda 3?

What did you guys all pay for your Stivos? drive away price?

and lastly the all important question..

What colour do you think is best..

Im thinking either white (or snow flake as you call it :))

or total opposite Black

Thanks in advance

I'm pretty certain that it's not going to look like that, that's the US Matrix, ours will be exactly that same as the Sth African RunX and the Euro T-Sport ie looking the same as the face lifted rollas coming out of Japan. Check out the photo album, there is a link on the TOC-AU homepage. Towards the end there are some pics from South Africa as well as a pic of my blue baby and rollagirl has a few also. They will look the same from behind, it is just the bonnet, lights, grille and front bumper and splitter that are different... adn I think the wheels are a slightly different style also.

Are the pre-facelift models still on sale??

I hope the new models wont lack any of the substances which the current models hold, otherwise i woulda been better off buying the prefacelift.

In terms of prices, when will be the best time to buying a Sportivo??

Would it be more expensive to buying a model that's about the off sale soon??

My dad wants to get a mediocre AUTOMATIC camry but i so want to vent off another couple of grand to get Corolla Sportivo. Unfortunately, the manual transmisson really discourages my dad from looking at it.
