thinking about a facelift...

hi all, i just wanted everyones opinon/advice.

i own a 2002 corolla sedan (pre-facelift) and was thinking about changing the front to an upgrade 2005 hatch/sportivo facelift front.

has anyone done this before? is it as simple as getting new headlights and front bumper only? and will it bolt straight in?

and why is it that the upgrade sedans never got the upgraded lights?

i have no idea what a sedan would look like with this kind of front. but i'm thinking tough.

what do you all think?

pretty sure you will also need the front guards, and bonnet as well to to the conversion

It's uber expensive. You'd be better off selling yours and buying a facelift dude lol.

Let me get this straight...

You want to put a Hatch Facelift onto a Sedan Corolla.

You will need

Bonnet

Front Bumper

Front Bumper Reinforcement

LH Mud Guard

RH Mud Guard

LH Headlight

RH Headlight

LH Foglight (or cover)

RH Foglight (or cover)

LH Underbody Guard

RH Underbody Guard

Radiator Support Panel

in conclusion - dont bother unless you have big pockets

On the other hand, if you ever have a little crash, put a facelift hatch front on your sedan seeing as you will be buying the parts anyway, that would be sweet

thats what i was thinking... with the full sportivo kit.. front, side and rear skrits.

but it's starting to sound a bit expensive..

by the sounds of it all i might just keep the car stocky, and make it into a sleeper...

just sell your pre facelift, get a facelift instead. i dunno... i own the pre face lift, and my parents got the facelifted one... i dunno... but it feels like it has more power, seriously. specially when you drive in city area, it feels much faster than the pre facelift... :D but... up to u 2 decide :P
