Mate I do have something somewhere. Be patient as I do have 3 large boxes of stuff to look through to find them.

As for sound clips will have a look too.

I don't have the dyno sheet with the before and after comparison. Think it is at CES so will give them a call and find out.

As for a sound grab PM Azza as I think he has one.

I have some video of my car on the dyno but all you can hear is the CAI!!

cheers SB, and in YOUR experiance did you find the mod worthwhile ?

i did search but i found it hard to sift through the gibberish

looking for more usable power through the rev range and at the same time a noise level that wont tire me out driving the car ever day

There are many on here that will say I am biased as my car was used for development and dyno testing so my first hand experience and results are more creditable than the "butt Dyno" LOL.

Cat back improves pre lift performance and drastically reduces the torque hole between 4-6K. It doesn't totally eliminate it but goes a long way to make it better. Once lift is engaged peak power is also improved right to redline. Peak figures vary so much depending on toyota's build quality from monday to friday. :P

My car was primarily driven by my wife to and from work and I never got a complaint from her about noise at all. It has a nice note that isn't obtrusive and doesn't drone inside the car at freeway or general suburb speeds as well. Mine tested under the DB limit as far as noise was concerned by 1-2DB from memory.

Throttle response is crisper and more responsive. Add a CAI or if finances and stretch some ported headers your car will be absolutely awesome to drive. Like running 2500rpm and upshifting all the way to sixth and the car accelerating really nicely. Headers make a huge difference to low end to mid range and combined with cat back and CAI make the progression onto lift quite soft as the engine is making more usable power in the low end.

Hope this answers your question mate. Any others fire away and I'll answer to the best of my ability.

as soon as someone buys my cat back sportivo exhaust, I'll let you know.

spoke to ces, 6-9kw at wheels expected, across whole rev range, as sb said, varies day to day.

ps - ces catback was 1k, mild steel flanges, delivery included to perth

fkn bulk cash, hope actually does something! haha

Man they looked after you on postage as system is just under 1K.

Header are stock ported and HPC coated headers. Well worth it IMO.

You can also get the headers uncoated just painted with high temp paint in flat black for about $330ish from memory. Contact CES for exact prices.

$330 sounds good, hopefully they can post them with the catback

SB knows best.

The cat-back exhaust has one of the nicest notes you'll ever hear, insane when you're in lift.

Everytime I drove my car, I was smiling.

I had all my CES gear put on at once, so I can't tell how much of a difference each part made.

But I can tell you that having everything, including the headers, was well worth it.

I noticed an increase in torque from 3k rpm upwards... all the way to redline.

Lift arrives alot quicker.

Definately let us know how everything goes! Cheers.

i have the trd cai already, so looking forward to having the cat back and seeing what this baby can do

only been dreaming about it for a year. there's a couple of XR8's around my way that i'm going to seek revenge upon.

install going to take a while as trev is booked solid.

i reckon run it like this, you do too many mods at once, you don't know the benefit of each.

Pretty sure that would be a system from dump pipe back.

bosch dynos generally read pretty high, i wouldent put to much weight on the actual number

Actually the ol' Bosch dyno reads pretty good. done back to back from the bosch to a dyno dynamics dyno the difference was just on 2kw.
