Corolla low and high beams

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I just wanted to find out what sort of bulb (H1, H2, H3 ... etc) the corolla 06 model uses. I'm thinking of getting a set of PHILIPS X-TREME Power Halogen lights and do not know what sort of connector they use. I've tried googling for the information, but I can't seem to find anything on them.

Is the low beam and beam bulb the same?

i strongly suggest you get HID's, you can get good HID's for about the same price as the best halogens. eg. Philips Diamondvision (BLUE) cost $169ish, HID's any colour/ intensity $150, you decide :P

My two cents :P

The owners manual in your glove box will have this information in it.

Thanks Champ!!

They use H7's ...

I've gone down the path of getting HID's with the Missus ... I dont want to go there again .. otherwise it's sleep in the lounge and cook your own dinner ...

Say it's for your safety and it also reduces any stress on your car, meaning you save fuel. It might be a little fudging of the truth, but she's a female - they don't always know these things ;)

look on the headlight cluster..

so pop the hood...

look down on one of the headlight clusters...

... see the lettering on it.. look for H... whatever...

it will be in direct line with the actual bulb.
