This goes out to all the ZRE owners!!!

I got my intake done yesterday n i think im the 1st 1 with a CAI on my ZRE in AUS...

If not my bad...

ZREs REPREZENT!!!

though thats not a cai more like a sri brother, make sure you get some sort of cold air feed to it

Thanks playa... but my pod was to BIG so i'll just buy a smaller one then maybe it'll fit down in the gap where the snorkel was...

I'll probably have to buy another silicone tube so i can face the pod down in the guard more...

It does the job bro n there aint no engine heat where its at now...

N e ways i LOVE IT!!!

still not quite a CAI with the length, might still be sucking in hot air, but good work mate. looking forward to hearing what it sounds like.

I dont think it is sucking in hot air bro... I had a pod on it b4 n that was suckin in hot air FO SHO!!!

All i need is a silicon bend that points down to where the snorkel was then it should be even better...

My current K & N pod is a abit to BIG so i mite need to change it to a smaller one..

hey bro, where was the place u got it from might get one but IMO the space u have now since u got rid of the OEM Snorkle u could of prob fit the pod down there which would of been better bcos no hot air :D OR box the pod off ? BOOM no hot air at all :D

Hey guys i added a bend n piece of silicon tube on the intake so its OFFICIALLY A COLD AIR TAKE!!!!!!!!!

I used the same K & N pod i just had to squeeze n twist it through the gap n it fits PERFECT NOW!!!

I have to say that its EVEN LOUDER n it SCREAMS!!!! The ROAR THE ENGINE MAKES IS KRAZY...

My mates gave me the bend n silicon tube so CHEERS TO THEM!!!

Warranty seems to be the main issue i think which is putting some of us off and some of us are not DIYers. But iam still interested and looking OS for a 2ZRFE kit..Need to be sure.

The only thing i did was put the lil silicon tube on n the bend that goes down to the front bar...

      overheated engine

      I drive a 2010 series 200 sahara V8 automatic. I recently towed a small caravan on a not that hotter day. The temperature gauge went to about half then dropped back to normal. The motor then went into limp mode and eventually stopped. On lifting the bonnet i noticed the top radiator tank had split all the way across. I have only two months ago had the complete cooling system checked with no defects. I called the RAA in South Aust and they tried to start it but just turned over but did not fire up. It was still pretty hot. I have been told the motor would be ruined by overheating. The car has been sitting at the repairers for 5 days now and as far as i know it has not been attempted to start. Before putting a new motor in it would it be worth putting a new radiator in it and see if it will fire up? Open to any suggestions at this stage.

      1996 Trueno XZ - Is it worth modding?

      Depends on how common/rare they are in your part of the world. The XZ trim was the second-lowest so didn't come with most of the fun bits that the full-fruit BZG/V/R models did, so it's not anywhere near as desirable stock but sometimes you have to make do with what you can find, plus you shouldn't feel as guilty modding the heck out of it since most of it isn't special.

      VSC, Traction Control, Check Engine lights all on

      I attended Toyota Preston for Aurion ATX 2013 major service today. Cost $~$1300. On the way home I stopped to pick up dinner. Two fault lights: engine and VSC lights came on when I restarted the car. Car drove home just fine. I can only return the car tomorrow for them to sort out. Annoyed. Let’s see if they’re still on in the morning.

      1996 Trueno XZ - Is it worth modding?

      Hi everyone, new member to the group and owner driver of a nifty little Toyota Sprinter Trueno XZ, now this was my cousins car, I bought it off him and after various drives, I have come to the decision that this needs alot of love. Now I am wondering if its worth putting my time and money into doing this certain make n model up or should I just buy a different car to do up?
