Thanks heaps Tash...i was plesantly surprised with the repairs,i still look at it on different angles and light to see if they missed any but they got em all,i'm really pleased with how it turned out. :)

No new updates on the car,but as some of you already know i will not be attending the annual meet in Sydney (i'm so miserable atm) so i thought i would post a few current pics of my ride to try and cheer myself up.

still need to do a few little mods,waiting on the panelshop to ease up with their hail repairs and then i will be able to get my front & rear lights done. :)

also starting to think about my next mod....new brakes.

Imo, do the black headlight surround mod Lee. It will compliment your black front grille and make her look even more aggressive.

The last few weeks i've been thinking brakes...this question prolly belongs in the stupid thred section but meh here goes.

i've looked at DBA & RDA both have sport/performance rotors to suit,i know a few of you guys are already using these so your opinions would be welcomed. :)

i suppose my question is what else is available?

would really like a set up similar to these....

i have looked into big brake kits for my camry but mate the k-sports 6piston fronts are 2grand and i dont see a need unless you have 1000hp just get slotted rotors and better pads and that will improve your braking

G'day Sean...don't worry yourself about how much things cost mate,unless it's your money paying for it. :P

it's a legit question and i'm serious about the purchase and i think a brake upgrade can be made without having 1000hp.

if DBA & RDA are my only realistic options i will settle for that,but surely there is something better out there.

they look so small,so bigger rotors would be great....

My brake specialist said to me:

"If your gonna get anything that has a cross drilled design and will defintely not break like others including DBA do on track, then Brembos is the way to go as they are simply the best of the best."

RDA and DBA are the only options unless you want to spent LOTS

well i have the supra spacer kit on my camry which means i can use the supra rotors but b4 that i had slotted rotors and bendex pads stopped way better then stock also looked better but now they look even better with nice big rotors and stop like a mofo.

Using a spacer kit to fit bigger rotors,interesting...wonder if this is possible/feasible on an Aurion and is there any safety issues with using spacers?

I had DBA slotted on my AE92 and the actual discs had Brembo stamped on the edge of them,depends which car and where they can source them from...

Lee I'd love to see them behind those black 19's..

I got back to the yard today after work,got in my car and as i was driving out the gate i heard a noise from the LHF wheel so got out had a look and bugger me dead i've got another puncture,found a flat square piece of steel with a welded screw in the middle stuck right in the middle of my tread.

this is some sort of record for me,i'm upto 5 punctures in 2010 almost one a month,had 3 on the Aurion and 2 on the work Hilux. :(

once again i will say....I FREAKIN HATE WORKING/DRIVING IN INDUSTRIAL AREAS so much crap on the roads
