more like where did they get the mad bodies and working lights... lol hahah and are they petrol???

You just buy the head and tail light kits.

I've been out of RC for a while now, but HPI Racing used to be the place to get top quality shells www.hpiracing.com

Tamiya shells were also pretty good.

I rate Tamiya bodies far greater than HPI, found HPI to be very disproportionate in terms of scale.

Anyway, light kits: This is my wiring diagram

I really want to get a monster truck, like a HPI Savage. A few of my mates have trucks and they say the more people out the more fun it is.

I've got 1:10 scale Tamiya TB02 with all the alloy options, an TB-EVO3 Surikarn Edn, a Tamiya M03 mini cooper and an Xray T1 FK05 that I never got to race due to starting a family. They all sit on the shelf now and the nimh battery packs are probably dead.

Also have a 2x Team Losi micro-t, and team associated rc18t truck plus 7 x Kyosho mini-z. I spent up big on RC cars instead of spending on real car mods, but that's now changing.

PCM is your friend :D

Or FM if your mate is a tight **** and can't afford the quality controllers. I learnt my lesson to get off AM frequencies when my car took off, hit a gutter, did a flip, landed on it's wheel and took off up the main road passing all the traffic  (2 speed and 3.5cc of powah will do that).

PCM is great but if you have $$ to burn then go 2.4GHz

Hey guys,

i was reading that some of you are into or at least have an RC car.

Since my car project is upon completion, i am looking for the next 'hobby' for myself to do... and think that i would really like RC car racing.

So as a first time beginner, i am wondering what would be the best option for racing on-road? not really looking into drifting, more the track racing side.

i am thinking of a 540 class RC, and go from there.

thanks for your input :D
