Yeh, Toyota. i know its genuine, but how ridiculous was that price.

Plus, the car is pre wired, from what i see in the tutorials here.

its not THAT hard to install, although im no expert for this.

BEING DECISIVE!

Going with the 2zz Power FC, since i shall be the first to do it, there shall be some tests carried out to see how the car will run and perform under load.

If this works out, it will be a very good upgrade for other 1zz owners as well :D

Also, a custom wiring harness will be added so that everything will work without any problem.

Now for my other problem:

Got the car serviced on Friday, and I was really excited that she would be running smoothly, tried to start it Saturday morning, but it didn't want to start :( So had to get a Tow truck to tow her to the local Mechanic, they fixed up the problem... something to do with the fuel filter.... and then ran fine until Saturday night, didn't want to start again... so now i am back home, and will be taking it to Toyota tomorrow to fix, i know i shouldn't mention any names, but Ultra Tune is who serviced my car... NEVER AGAIN! I would rather pay Toyota to fix it and do it properly.

I have NEVER had any troubles with this car until Friday :(

pull the pump assembly out of the tank from under the rear seat, then prise apart the fuel pump housing/filter assembly, seat the o-ring correctly on the pump and re-assemble.

I don't see how a qualified mechanic could get the filter wrong. Me and a mate did my Sportivo. It's a pain in the bum taking the seats out to get the carpet up, but otherwise it's not difficult compared to other in-tank filters...
