Well guys last week I sold the aurion :unsure: …I put it onto carsales the day before and within 30 seconds of me submitting the ad this guy called. The next morning he came over and brought it. Ive had about 10 calls for it so far too. And to make me feel even worse when I was driving it that day for the very last time the amount of people that stared at it and gave me the thumbs up was unbelievable, just made me feel even more sad to let it go. When he drove out of my yard with it I actually did shed a tear…but it went to a great guy (who is now a member on here AKL80) and a great home.

So I just want to say thank everyone for all there help and usefull info over my time on TOCAU and especially the Brisbane boys for being a mad bunch to hang around with. :) Extra special thanks to daryl for helping me out with my car so many times, that was really appreciated dude! Aswell as Michael for being my photography/cruising to cane fields buddy lol.

It’s a shame I didn’t get to bring my car down to the annual meet and meet everyone that I wanted too but hopefully ill still be welcome to the next one regardless of what car I drive…and Ill try and make it out to the weekly Brisbane meets and stay reasonably active on the forum :clap:

ahh, grouse stuff, I really need to sell my car to fund things such as a wedding and mini simo, hopefully its as easy as you said it was.

Shame to see such a good Aurion move on from it's original modifier. So much effort was put into that car and was the envy of many other Aurion owners out there. Hope the Colt brings you much more enjoyment of a different kind mate.

bugger...i think im now one of the only royal blue cars on here (at least on the fun side of 80kw anyway, haha - sorry yaris owners)

and phil, no chance mate, no chance at all. u said u want to go back to FI, come to meet this week and ill give u a drive it will convince u to sell....loooooooove when 13lbs come on, so much torque for a 1.5 its not funny and love how it handles. your on phil! and i WILL be at qr next

I won't be out at QR for a while, got some issues with the car that need sorting out first (DJ knows that feeling). I would come to watch.

I will however be out at the next dinner so I'll be spying your litte gogo mobile then

I think my air con has more than 13lbs of pressure in it

Get a plate after my stivo squashes your car, here's a thought

According to Redbook, the Colt R will go from 0-100kms in 8 seconds flat. Stock.

Where as the Sportivo will go from 0-100kms in 8.4 seconds. Stock.

.4 of a second isn't much. And alot would come down to the driver.

I'm thinking that because there is a turbo on the Colt... tuning would be very easy.

It's light, and 'handles' great apparently...

I wouldn't go stamping it out just yet.

      2011 Land Cruiser 1VD-FTV Engine Won't Start After Overhaul

      Hi everyone, I have a 2011 Land Cruiser VDJ200 with a 1VD-FTV engine. I recently had the engine fully overhauled due to a blown head gasket. However, after the overhaul, the engine is not starting. It only cranks but doesn't fire. I've checked the following DTC codes: Internal memory EEPROM error Low rail pressure The actual rail pressure data shows: 240 bar during cranking 61 bar when ignition is off Based on these findings, I suspect the following potential causes: =Defective Diesel High-Pressure Pump =Leaking Piezoelectric Injectors =Diesel Fuel Bypassing to the DPF Circuit =Faulty Injector Drivers I'm hoping for some expert advice to help diagnose and resolve this problem I'm seeking expert advice on how to troubleshoot and resolve this issue. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

      Hey guys, I’m wanting to disconnect my current winch, lightbar and UHF as I have new plans. I’ve installed a winch previously on another car so I get it’s a case of following the cables and disconnecting from the battery, etc but but safety wise, should I start by disconnecting the battery so the cables aren’t live orrrr? And if so how do it go this haha?

      Snapping wheel and axle studs

      Put a set of standard wheels on it and your problem will disappear. It is critical that the hole in the wheel centre is a snug fit on the axle boss (without wheel nuts fitted). If your wheels are sloppy on the axle boss this allows excess force on your wheel studs and they will break, as yours are doing. If you are unsure of what to do, go to a reputable tyre shop and get assistance.

      2zz idle / roughness when accelerating past 3k

      Hey everyone was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction with this issue I've been facing for a while now. My Celica's idle will drop down to almost 200rpm when stationery after hitting operating temperature. Pretty much feels like it's about to stall out but never actually does. When taking off from a set of lights it almost feels like it hesitates or is down on power and then all of a sudden it lurches forward and gets a boost in power again. Then again around 1,500-3,000rpm it feels down on power and in what I can only describe in the engine feeling scratchy. Past 3,000 rpm it gets a little boost in power again but still definitely feels down on power compared to what it used to be and still has that roughness. Note lift is also not working at the moment but I have changed the lift bolts, planning on cleaning the VVT and VVTL-i OCV's New engine mounts have been installed I changed the MAF sensor about 4 years ago albeit not OEM. After doing some research my main ideas now would be a New MAF this time OEM, TPS, IACV or Coil Packs (Changed plugs 50,000km ago) Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! :)
