Q regarding my mates 1ZZ mr2 spyder

Recommended Posts

my mate who owns a 2000 1ZZ mr2 asked me about where I got my exhaust for my 2003 1ZZ corolla.

I told him its a sportivo exhaust.. (optional extra, not the stock sportivo corolla exhaust) and that I got it 3rd hand from the TOCAU forum.

since both our cars have a 1zz engine and although his car has the engine in the back so the exhaust piping would be different, would it at all be possible to weld a sportivo exhaust onto his mr2 pipes?

given all the bends twists and turns attached to the spyder exhaust i wouldnt think it would be worth it .... u would have to basically go to the exhaust shop and they would hack the thing apart and weld it all up again .... also im not sure if it would fit properly or provide similar results as ive seen a few pics of spyder exhausts and there seems to be a long pipe connecting the muffler to the tips so if that needs some sort of flow tuning to get right then ur wasting ur time ............u could try it n c how u go ......
