FUEL WARNING MESSAGE
Geoff, I have a fuel blockage in my Prado. Both tanks are full but no fuel flows to the Injector pump. Is there a filter or strainer in the main fuel tank: How does the electrical connector for the Fuel sender assembly disconnect? I have posted this tonight - - - - -

2006 KUN26R Starter
Hi Guys. I have a 2006 KUN26R diesel D4D. Starter motor is on fritz. I’ve undone the power nut and the plug. I am doing this on the ground supported by axle stands so room and access is terrible. i cannot for the life of me figure out where the two bolts holding it on are!! YouTube videos are no help because they simply say undo them but don’t show me where they are actually are located. I need to do the old monkey see monkey do thing. I am confused by all the other bolts holding on other brackets and things. Does one bolt undo from the bell housing side and the bottom one from the front side? Can someone help an old guy out with pics or a diagram or something? Crawling under a car and trying to get a clear view of the starter is nearly beyond me. Thanks in advance. -

Upgrading 2010 Aurion ATX Headlights
Narva doesn't look like it will fit, so STEDI looks to be the winner. I hope to never need the warranty as customer service seems to be lacking https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/stedi?sortBy=ratingLowest Have gone & ordered stedi lights for low beam, parkers & fog lights. The Parker is only 2mm longer than the standard Narva bulb so hopefully it fits & lasts- 1

Upgrading 2010 Aurion ATX Headlights
Narva is a known brand. I looked at the description and noted: Note these globes are NOT ADR APPROVED and should be used for OFFROAD USE ONLY. Your $$$; Your choice; Your Risk. I expect that they should be quite good for the Projector type lens in the low beam. -

Upgrading 2010 Aurion ATX Headlights
These Narva "surefit" lights are currently $116 on special at supercheap with 3 year warranty. I may give these a go considering the ease of returns EDIT: THESE DONT LOOK LIKE THEY WILL FIT. https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/narva-narva-surefit-led-headlight-globes-h8-9-11-12-24v/673614.html -

Upgrading 2010 Aurion ATX Headlights
I fitted the STEDI LED bulbs May 2022 and odometer reading 240,000 KMs. Current odometer reading 264,400 KMs. If I had to estimate how many operating hours then it would be at least 3-4 hours weekly plus another 40 hours per interstate road trip = 200+ Hours per annum. I consider the STEDI LED bulbs to be the best $ value upgrade and will definitely purchase them again. Being contrarian, I have another set of a different cheaper brand LED bulbs as backups for immediate use [purchased in 2022] until I can place that order. Hoping that these STEDI bulbs do last 5 years as claimed by so many Chinese brands. Perhaps by then STEDI will have an even more premium quality replacement.- 1

How durable were the STEDI lights? I'm looking to upgrade from orange bulbs, but I'm worried about longevity -

RAV4
Model code, made up of engine code, chassis code, generation number, spec number, and hand. Traditionally, the engine and chassis codes were one letter each, however around the 80s and 90s Toyota started adding in two letter versions, but the model code only took up to three letters so if the engine and chassis code were both two letters, then they would be combined. Your Rav4 has a 2.4L 2AZFE engine (in which the AZ is the engine code), and the Rav4 chassis code is XA, so the Z and X combine to make a C (otherwise it would be AZXA23R). This is the second-gen Rav4, so the generation number is 2 (not that this isn't always a direct correlation, Toyota do skip numbers in the code and sometimes even re-start after a major change to the chassis). It's a 5-door, so the spec number is 3 (the 3-door is 2, the pre-facelift ones with the 2.0L 1AZFE were 1 and 0 respectively). And finally, it's right-hand drive, so R for Right.
