I ran the older style "fat" ballasts with my Kaixen kit and also with the MTEC kit and they've been fine. So I don't think they're all like that.. :P

Ok, i stuffed up, swapped out the wrong bulbs...

Anyhooo:

3,000k Yellow --- 6,000k SMD IPF parkers --- dud hyper deep blue (more like Hyper/Ocean blue)

With 6,000k MTEC HID lows....

PINK BITS tomorrow, well, the 30,000k purple/pinks. Ive got true pinks coming...

Definitely 3k yellow Pete! Winter is coming up and I love driving with it on in the rain. 1. just looks awesome; 2. yellow is the best colour in wet/fog 3. JDM 4. Commonwhores/fords with boring foglights will be completely jealous!

Yeah that's me Thomas wanting pink rims but I know a week with them and i'll get rid of them...

I also agree with Peter about yellow, i'm not a big fan but the way your car looks now with yellow is sooo Jap it will suit nicely especially in the rain ;)

Oh, just found some baller LS600 LED mirror covers for the LS430:

Nagisa Auto Multi Camber Adaptor kit arrived today!

These will crank -2.5 degree neg on the front, and increase positive caster (wheel towards the front of the car) and drop 30mm as notes some posts back. Excellent.

Pretty heavy duty parts these.

Result:

Way better than expected. Only had a short drive but great increase in acceleration, torque and HP. No loss in response. Sound is absolutely beatuiful, not too loud either, sounds freakin awesome. I would be interested to actually see the figures a dyno would spit out. Its by far the best improvement ive had for any intake work ive had done on any car i have owned. Pretty happy!
