Yesterday... <_<

i was doing almost 40km+ over the limit. :o

as soon as i saw the cops jump in their car, i pulled over even before they could put their siren on. :lol:

showed him my license...and he asked me a few questions.

one of the questions:

Q: why were you speeding?

A: i got a sheeetload of homework to do.

(i won't say anymore)

anyways...instead of license suspension and huge fine... <_<

i got -3 points, $203. (booked for 15km over)

(which i reckon is very fair...considering what i did)

:D

i feel like i should drive like a granny now... :angry:

i think i'm going to cherish my last 4 points...unless they're already gone for something i've done but didn't realise i got busted. :lol::lol::lol:

Well on Wednesday i copped a $100 parking fine. That was one expensive chinese lunch. I nearly got done once by a roadside unmarked camera, but i managed to see it just before i passed it and slowed down to escape the nasty flash.

What was the complicated question that they asked or you answered or whatever? :huh:

I only go excessivly quick if im on a safe road that has no chance of coppers or anything silly like that to spoil my fun. :)

Went out on Wednesday night to show a mate the new car.

On the way home I went past some cops and they followed me and then pulled me over. I thought it was because i have no plates on the car........

Then they say that they had a phone call from a concerned citizen saying there was a white corolla with no plates doing 160+ on the highway...

They just asked me to slow down and resist the temptation of the new car ;)

i think this car isn't meant to be....

i was out with a few friends lastnight..and as we were all leaving the car park..

i reversed into his 2002 black celica!

ouch!!!!!!!!!!

door, rear quarter and rear bumper damage...on his car...i'm estimating 5k+ worth of damage...

mine...the rear bumper went in and popped back out...the bumper folded up and hit the hatch..(there's a line across the bumper and hatch where they contacted)...

i don't think i bent anything....

but...

it's just not my week......

any1 wanna buy a less than 2 month old stivo?

what were they doing outside of their car? did they read your speed from a radar or was it by eye?

i do not think they use flash now as this is old. if you see the flash lamp a metre or two in front of the parked car it is probably a dummy as there is no one sitting in the car.

sharmz: hail damage..yes..still exists....how long have i had her...2 months last saturday....hail damage 3 weeks exactly on the day..and accident 2 months exactly on the day...

i think i'll trade it in for a rust bucket....at least it doesn't matter if i ding it!

NIKICH: i dropped by battered baby at GIO centre this afternoon (3pm). I have priority service for some reason (shrugs). anyways...because of this 'priority' service...my car left the GIO centre within the hour and worked starts either that day or the next day immediately...and they said i'll get my car back at the latest next wednesday. (i'm really liking GIO at the moment...really helpful too) :D

just getting the rear damage fixed... <_<

there is still hail damage on the roof and bonnet. <_<

i'm NOT looking forward to my premium next year...and i was trying so hard to get to 60% no claim...WAS on 50%...not anymore <_<

i just gotta call up to make sure they apply the 'Gold' paint protection on the new parts =)

Hey Chris ??? u better take it easy on the car man, it is still a baby, 2 month old, oh well, just get the car fixs and take better care of your car.

      2011 Land Cruiser 1VD-FTV Engine Won't Start After Overhaul

      Hi everyone, I have a 2011 Land Cruiser VDJ200 with a 1VD-FTV engine. I recently had the engine fully overhauled due to a blown head gasket. However, after the overhaul, the engine is not starting. It only cranks but doesn't fire. I've checked the following DTC codes: Internal memory EEPROM error Low rail pressure The actual rail pressure data shows: 240 bar during cranking 61 bar when ignition is off Based on these findings, I suspect the following potential causes: =Defective Diesel High-Pressure Pump =Leaking Piezoelectric Injectors =Diesel Fuel Bypassing to the DPF Circuit =Faulty Injector Drivers I'm hoping for some expert advice to help diagnose and resolve this problem I'm seeking expert advice on how to troubleshoot and resolve this issue. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

      Hey guys, I’m wanting to disconnect my current winch, lightbar and UHF as I have new plans. I’ve installed a winch previously on another car so I get it’s a case of following the cables and disconnecting from the battery, etc but but safety wise, should I start by disconnecting the battery so the cables aren’t live orrrr? And if so how do it go this haha?

      Snapping wheel and axle studs

      Put a set of standard wheels on it and your problem will disappear. It is critical that the hole in the wheel centre is a snug fit on the axle boss (without wheel nuts fitted). If your wheels are sloppy on the axle boss this allows excess force on your wheel studs and they will break, as yours are doing. If you are unsure of what to do, go to a reputable tyre shop and get assistance.

      2zz idle / roughness when accelerating past 3k

      Hey everyone was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction with this issue I've been facing for a while now. My Celica's idle will drop down to almost 200rpm when stationery after hitting operating temperature. Pretty much feels like it's about to stall out but never actually does. When taking off from a set of lights it almost feels like it hesitates or is down on power and then all of a sudden it lurches forward and gets a boost in power again. Then again around 1,500-3,000rpm it feels down on power and in what I can only describe in the engine feeling scratchy. Past 3,000 rpm it gets a little boost in power again but still definitely feels down on power compared to what it used to be and still has that roughness. Note lift is also not working at the moment but I have changed the lift bolts, planning on cleaning the VVT and VVTL-i OCV's New engine mounts have been installed I changed the MAF sensor about 4 years ago albeit not OEM. After doing some research my main ideas now would be a New MAF this time OEM, TPS, IACV or Coil Packs (Changed plugs 50,000km ago) Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! :)
