highpoint mufflers are good..

umm you should try using 10 - 40w oil as it's a little thicker..

as for exhaust install you can actually diy at home, just make sure you have WD40, breaker bar and gasket glue

Think Andy is using a lighter weight oil (5w) for the upcoming cooler season. During hot seasons, you would generally move up to a heavier oil (10w) so it will protect the engine upon start up.

Or it could be that he is just wanting to know the diff in engine performance with the 10w versus 5w. RP has a 10w40 too.

Good to hear your ZZE is back in business dude. Did you also have to cut a hole in the rear interior panels for the C-One strut tower bracing?

As for the Fumoto drain plug, when draining the oil, it doesn't allow the oil to drain completely. It leaves about 10mm level of old oil sitting at the bottom of the oil pan, equivalent to about 390ml of oil still left undrained.

Try and look for a suitable hose ring to clip it over the valve release switch. Just in case u scrape that vavle over those stupid half size speed humps we have in Melb. The humps that are like 1 metre long accross the road and scrapes everything if ur car is lower than 100mm.

Yamaha, in collaboration make and tune alot of the Toyota heads and have been doing so for a very long time. A few examples: the Altezza (or known locally as the IS200) came out with the BEAMS S3GE engine with quad throttle bodies as standard. My brother has a JZX110 Futura tuned version, its said to output around the 220kw mark with the assistance of Yamaha tuning. It's also got a Yamaha badge at the back. Lastly, Lexus' IS-F's aural note at 4,400rpm was tuned specifically by Yamaha.
