Window tinting

Recommended Posts

I just bought a new corolla and want to get the windows tinted. I've been shopped around and got a quote from premier tint in Blacktown for $250 with 99% uv protection and 65% heat rejection, and from solar tint in bankstown for $295 for similar thing both offer lifetime warranty. Any one here got your car window tinted recently? Are these good prices? Which company is better or any other good ones? I know some mobile people can offer cheaper prices but will there be a problem with warranty? Like when there're any problems happen the person can't be found... Please give me some advices. Thanks a lot.

I had all my and my family's cars done at Option Tinting in Fairfield. Ask for Vi - because he's an award winning tinter, and he's the owner.

Tell him Denis sent you. If he says"Huh?", just tell him that I'm the guy that booked 5 cars with him in one day.

Details are:

Option Window Tinting

High Performance Auto Tinting

Unit 7B / 303 The Horsley Drv Fairfield NSW 2165

I got a Ming Titanium and it cost me $250 although I understand standard retail is a little higher than that.

It is the 3rd car I have had this tint on and I have never had anything wrong with it.

A few guys have this tint and they all appear to love it.

Thanks a lot for all your valuable advices!

Is Ming a film brand or what? some tinters said the bubbling we see on some cars on the road is because they're not using metalised films but not the matter how good the films are put on, is this true??

Ming is a Brand that is usually distributed through the Motor One chain of outlets.

The Titanium tint is a metal tint.

I do not believe that bubbling is becaue the tint doesn't have metal, I would say more because they are poorly applied and usually made of cheap plastic, then not cared for properly after application.
