cai on atx need help DIY best way to do so...

i have put a decent exhaust system on my atx aurion recently and have taken one resonator out for a louder sound need to get a cai going and what decent length should the alley tube be? need it so that its roadworthy and the pigs dont get me hahah.. :blush::blink:post-31990-0-97693300-1362496891_thumb.j

just a good sound mate but now i took the resonator off it sounds louder than before but inside its also loud is there anyway to minimise the sound inside the car? thanks

Just taking out the resonator will make it louder, but also give you more drone inside, you need a resonator of some sort. Finding the right combination of resonators and mufflers is not easy, iv'e been experimenting for a couple of years now. As for your intake K & N SRI is the way to go, its designed for the 2GRFE, and while you dont get any huge gains, you will turn heads kicking the throttle :toast:
