Maybe you have hit something with the right side and its knocked it out slightly?

Have you had a look under the vehicle to see if there is any damage? There would be a rubber mount (works like a resilient mount for vibration) under there. Check and see if it is broken, damaged, stretched etc.

i dont recall ever hitting anything. and the rubber bits look fine

Is the bracket that usually goes into the rubber grommet fully in? It looks like its just come loose or something honestly

i just went under the car to have a look at the two rubber mounts

they both look okay

Its a known issue Toyota knows about.

There is a field fix teck line for warranty.

But unfortunatly its been so long i cant remember what the repair procedure was.

Mine are a bit off as well..right hand tip sits slightly lower than the left one. It isnt a big issue but it does niggle me every time I look at it

found a somewhat stretched and mangled exhaust mount. this may be the main cause of the problem
