Aaron: Nah, didn't really want to. I'm pretty happy the way it is. I hate bottoming out and hitting speed humps and scraping driveways. <_< I like to keep my bodykit as scratch free as possible. ;) And the fact that i can't afford it either..hahaha  ....so nah....i haven't lowered the "Golf Ball". :(

Is someone able to tell me what the product code is for the low King Springs for the Stivo. I just called Autobarn for a price and the guy said that they do not manufacture a spring suitable. I know people have them so I would appreciate the code if anyone knows it.

yeh im interested in the king springs as well... how much was ur quote and how low is the drop? 40mm?

He wouldn't quote me cause he doesn't think that they can get them. But if I know the code then they should just be able to order them in. Autobarn are offering 10% off the Kings at the mo.

I think the drop is 35mm.

anyone have kings 40mm drop with stock rims and find it uncomfortable to drive with? or do u find much better performance and less bodyroll? any problems with parking/driveways?

Bill: YEAH MAN! I wanna take the stivo on those Safari expeditions. hahah... you can get LIFT kits for 4WDs.....anything from a few inches to like 40 inch HIGH INCREASE...hahha....:lol::lol:

Aaron: My strut brace is still sitting at the dealership. I haven't been able to fork out the money to buy it. It's $220.00 or something like that.

toohey before u buy them from autobarn join toyo78 and me and get them shipped here for $250! its a better deal if ur in melb since they install them for $305 all up... but to ship to any state is $250... best price i found in sydney is like 150 a pair so yeh... not cheap...

Just wanted to know...

what is the CORRECT specifications to go with.

stock: 16x6 195/55/16

new rims: 17x7 215/45/17

I think it has put my speedo out...but not 100% sure. i lined the wheels up and they seem the same size...

is it still the same overall rolling diametre?

what should be correct dimensions???

I think that 215/40/17 will bring you closer to the correct speedo reading. Though I don't think that it'll really make that much of a difference.
