I just bought a new Sportivo, and im getting rid of my Ascent. The guy that bought it is picking it up on Tuesday. Now, i cant stop thinking about all the times ive had with that car.

- Like the morning i was on my way to school, and i didnt see that car coming round the round-a-bout, so i flew through it and got 2 wheels up in the air

- and the time i spun the wheels for the first time

- and when i got my first speeding ticket, and the ticket for not wearing shoes

- the time when i out-ran a police commodore and hid with my lights off

- the journey's to QLD, NSW and Adelaide

- all the times dragging cars that i knew i wouldnt win (R34 GT-R, Evo VIII etc...)

- and last but not least, all the things i learned.

Its been great to own such a fantastic car, and i cant wait to get behind the wheel of the Sportivo. But nothing will replace the times ive had with the Ascent....

So long and farewell to the Ascent!!!!!!!!!!!

As long as I've known, there has never been a law regarding what footwear you could have on while driving?

I'd take that and dispute it.

seriously, that copper had it in for me that night...

it was so funny:

- 80 kmph in a 60kmph zone

- 80 kmph in a 70kmph zone

- u-turning at a "no u-turn" sign

- driving with no footwear

see, all these memories are gonna be with me for life!!

how many points did you lose for that?!

thats a ridiculous law... i take my shoes (especially my school/work ones) off cos theyre too heavy and i cant control the pedals as well... how can they pull you for making your driving safer?

Posted

i bet if i showed the cops my work shoes (stilleto's) i would be able to drive bare foot...

i even took my driving test with bare feet, stupid rules

Posted

well, i started off with 5 points, and now ive got 1.... lol

yeah, im not being sexest at all, but i reckon its harder to drive in high heels (NOT THAT I WOULD KNOW AT ALL!!!) compared to not having any shoes on at all....

remember, NOT THAT I WOULD KNOW WHAT HIGH HEELS FEEL LIKE!!

Posted

Apparently you cant "control" a car properly with out footwear!

its just oz and one of its millions of petty rules!
