Hey Guys,

what times are you boys getting with your mods?

Standard corollas and sportivos included....

0-100 and 400m would be good!

My best in stock stivo is 7.4sec 0-100.

did u stay in lift for 1-2 change? coz i can't remember if i did or not when i did 7.4. i think i was out of the zone for a split second...

Pecker: i didn't say i didn't believe you. I just found it 'interesting'. I never mentioned that i didn't believe you. It may be possible to do those times with or without landing in lift...all i said was 'interesting'.

No need to get all defensive as if i'm trying to burn you down from your claims.

Just found them...'interesting'...

I've made this post as clear as possible. Please don't get confused as to what i've said and what i haven't said.

Interesting to me means...it may be possible or may not be possible. Who knows...just interesting...O.K.?

Mr Tiger: Ok man, i believe ya, maybe my post was a little grumpy.... and i guess since we're related by name i shouldnt attack you :D :D

Anyhow no one has yet said what they have recorded....

Do you guys think if you video tape your 0-100 sprint and measure the time in the video it would be accurate????

Ill do a couple of runs and post them here on the forum.....

well with my gtech my best quater mile time is 15.4 @ 95mph

others were like 15.7 etc..

That's more like it. The factory time is reported as 15.8 secs, so in a stock car that may be achievable.

I'm just having a hard time believing claims of 7.4 secs or below, especially in stock Stivos, which would be a full second quicker than the factory claim.

I am yet to beat 8.4 in my 3 or 4 attempts timed on a G-Tech. Contrary to some, I am not a crap driver, so without evidence I will not beleive an un modified car will get into the 7's.

Give me proof, and I'll be the first to give you mad props!

wat sort of proof are u after?

a video with a g-tech and an FIA official in the passenger seat and paper documentation signed by a JP and 2 solicitors? :P

i think its too many variables for some of to get proper timings. even if its 6.2, 7.4 or 8.3. its quick enough for most of us. as long as i don't get smoked by an excel

Viking: 8.4 is kinda slow...

will a video of my 0-100 time be proof enough????

it may not be 7.4 every time, but mid/high 7s is quite achieveble on every descent take off...

no dramas, just give a quick look at the front of your car and the rego plates in the video, it will add "class":blink:

Iam pretty sure we can beat 8.4sec time to 100km/h but getting to 7.4 is putting this c-sportivo into the holden Astra turbo acceleration range.

I think toyota or NineMSN claim the current celica to be 7.3sec/100.

Even Motors mag the one that rated the c-sportivo so low did a 8.2/100 and 16.0 quarter mile time.

Cheers
