they are 2 tests

1 performed by englands top gear (this cost me $10 so use it wisely)

1 performed by a danish magazine

ok guys from the posted clip it appears from media player that the car doesnt actually doesnt take off till when media player is switching from 1 into 2 seconds so it could be anywhere from 1.5-> 2 and it appears the car hits 100 @ just before its going to hit 9 seconds by a fraction. So without pulling the clip appart and analysing it frame by frame to get an exact time id say worst case to get to 100 this took about just under 9 seconds minus the initial lag of the clip to actualy get the car going

so approx 8.75 or 9 - 1.5 or 2 = mid to low sevens

With me and my lady in the car i got 0-100 in 7.7secs.....

Not to bad but i couldve done better with a better launch, kept screwing up 2nd gear!!!

Anyone else have thte problem shifting to second??

i feel that going into 3rd is the hardest...1-->2 is pretty easy in my car.

XTIGERX: 2nd to 3rd is a piece of ***** in my car, 1st to 2nd is bad!! I find now if i hold the base of the gearstick, not the knob it makes 1st to 2nd a dream!

yeah same here, 1st to 2nd is fine, 3rd gets tricky. Maybe its cause I don't get as many chances to practise it as I do with the 1st->2nd..

Anyone noticed in that vid that the speedo jumps almost instantly from 0 to 40 km/h? It must have got bags of wheelspin, but can't really tell 'cos the stuffed sound.

The speedo jumps again around 60 km/h.

i took my car out for a run the other night to get some times with a clock and my mate timed me at 5.6s.

I thought wtf? On the hard 1>2 change it got enough wheel spin to show 100 on the clock!.

The road was a little moist though....

Tractioncontrol wasn´t on so there was wheelspin quite a lot in 1st gear until 6000rpm,when it gets enough traction.
