Hey guys I have a 1996 Toyota Camry and the driver seat is very uncomfortable and it is causing me problems with my back. What car has a reasonably comfortable seat and will just bolt right in??

An option to consider is going to a vehicle upholstery shop. They should be able to add foam inserts and/or reupholster the seat.

Hi Jack, another option (depending on how your butt feels in the seat ) is a seat insert, there are a lot at your local supercheap/autobarn stores, let us know the outcome

Hi there,

Could it be that the seat is just worn out and not offering the correct support ?

I couldn't tell you if a later model Camry seat would bolt straight in, if this is the way you prefer to go, but doing this will make the car look odd in the way that seats not being original to the car. I'd go with what Ashley said and have the seat re done to suit you and yet retain the originality.

gen 3/4/5 camrys can fit the same seats, and will bolt in

cos technically a gen 5 camry ( 2002-2006) is just a reshelled gen 4 (1997-2001)

also i sold my old camry sportivo seats to a guy who had a gen 3 (1992-1996) and they fit
