is this the old civic type R?

or the New ones? I haven't seen the new ones yet.

Civic type R is rare isn't it? In Australia, don't think they sold them here.

**** that sounds like i pretty good time for a stock Levin? I have never been and seen a 1/4 mile run but looking at times from other cars that sound pretty damn good.

Hey Pecker good run, matches the best Celica 1/4 mile time. So was that a perfect run for you or do you think the Stivo could have ran better? Did the 1-2 gearchange go alright?

Do you know what mods the Civic R had because in stock trim i know they run close to 15 seconds 1/4 mile. It definitely needed the ECU to be retuned to run on 98RON.

I got time sheets here somewhere for my car running 15.5 stock, no mods... All absolutely standard except for front tyres at 17 PSI.... I ran 1/10 slower with CAI and Exhaust.. Maybe just had a good day... B)

Hey boys,

Korrock: i maxed out my ISP limit fore this month so ill post a vid tomorrow (1/7/04).

17psi would have been good cos i was running 34psi and traction was a problem. In all the excitement i didnt manage to stay in lift 1/2 in my best runs, kept droping out to about 5500 so i do think with traction and better 1/2 change a 15.5 would be quite achievable in stock form as Exec6speed has proved.

Next time all the melb boys and any interstaters visiting should go down.

And just another point, if your car runs even a 15.88 quarter surely that is sub 8sec 0-100km.

next exclusive track day at heathcote should be in august. look forward to seeing more corollas next time.
