 Good job on the install! Where abouts did u end up putting the balast for the driver side light? And does the headlight assembly get super hot now and did u need to adjust the height of the beam (how did u do it) ? * sorry for noob questions :P

I'm getting the 6000K one soon :toast: , and if that's 8000k, then i think the light's will be able to do the job  - my headlight globes are a tinge brown as well after using 5200K bulbs.. but i think it's normal over time

i put the driver's ballast.. BEHIND the right guard (on the left of the fluid wiper)...

theres this hole which fits the screw... so i screwed 1 in and used PLENTY of double sided tape to finish the job...

i didnt adjust the beam (coz i dont know how... been looking at CHANMAN's post)

i guess u dont have to... coz after installing it... the lights didnt actually spread that much further... its just a LOT BRIGHTER.... if u know what i mean...

headlights get super hot? i thought HID release less heat than HALO...... check it out later

i thought of that as well... DID I GET 6000k!?!?!?

the stickers on the BULB says 8k.. but it doesnt mean anything...

if i wanna talk to them about it... JUST LIKE GAZZOOM.. i would have to pay postage to get it exchanged and all... hmmmm maybe not.. i'll just keep it! THEIR POSTAGE FEE is $30.... but on the box it says $10!!!

$20 profit!

the only way to find out.. if mine is 8k or 6k is...

RME1!!!! its time for u to take some photos!!!!!

need to compare!!!!

I tried bargaining, but i got backhanded LOl :( - i guess it didn't hurt to try - i go ' a mate got them for 200, can u match? '

this beeping noise? is that the reminder when the door is open and ur headlights are still on??

My bad for the 'HID's are super hot' - ur right about them emitting less heat  I'm getting the 6K ones

looks like these HIDs are getting cheaper on ebay.

I've bought one of these made in china HIDs a year ago. they are still running and as usual the ever so slow warm up time.

It is usually about 2mins+. the other thing i've noticed recently is the weakening brightness. Once this one is ruined I'll find a better brand i think. I'll probably get a 4300k or a 5000k this time.

coz I feel is getting old with these blue lights... hahah :D

but more importantly, the lower K range is even brighter.

oh ya, although by HIDs aren't as bright. it is still heaps brighter than halogens.

mtec is really nice

its jap brand...but i think its made in taiwan...

quality is quite amazing and they work on euro cars as well without igniting the warning light (not relevant in here anyway)

but since their price is about 3x the normal one..

go for the cheap one...
