Number Plates....

For years now, I have had this uncanny fascination with number plates. It first started as a game when I was a lad and looking at the different combinations and coming up with what the letters stood for.

My funniest as a child that I remember was when I was about 8 and we hadn't been in Queensland long and I saw ###-PSB....(I can't remember the numbers)...

I said the first thing that came to my head, PUSSIES STINK BAD, then I got walloped....

Ever since, I have always found myself looking at number plates and deciphering them, especially personalised plates, and trying to work out what they are meant to be....

So here is the tune. Keep you eyes posted, spot the Pesonalised Plates, and think about what they are supposed to be.....then post them here. I am curious to see what other weird and wonderful number plates grace our roads.

I'll start....

The past few days, I have seen a blue Mazda RX8 on the road to and from the city (Brisbane) a couple of times now. His number plate is 31GHT reading EIGHT... clever I know....

What have you guys seen.... and please don't make them up....

Cheers

Aaron

At Bracken Ridge Maccas, I saw an old KA/KB Laser with CHICKY number plates.

Doesn't sound amazing, I admit, but given the car is worth maybe $1000-$1500, and the plates would have cost in excess of $2000 from QLD Transport, I think Chicky needs to get her priorites straight! :P

i saw a holden with the numbe plates HQLDEN... looks like HOLDEN from a distance...

It didn't happen to be a HQ Holden that wore those plates? No particular reason for the question, I just think it'd be suitable. :)

hehe.. naw it was a 90's model, vn or vr i think. you're right though, it would've looked very suitable indeed on a hq holden :)
