Dude you cant be that big to make your car sag.. if that was the case i'd get x2 100kg units to sit in my back everytime i drive and i wudnt have to lower my ride. lol And if what john said, 5mm drop at right side.. unless you are that fussy and got a tape measure, it wudnt be that noticeable. I pump my front tyres a bit higher to compensate for weight in front, and right front tyre a bit more for weight of when i sit in car and drive. Should be fine. John

6spd manual. Dont even bother with auto. Quote my dealer when i asked for 6spd-manual ZR "Are you sure? You sure you want 6spd? Its a lot of power?!" I laughed to myself, seriously its a 1.8lt FWD, if i dont get manual.. wats the point.

Worked in Cairnlea today. Spotted a white zre on cairnlea drv. White with 18'' black rims with redlip, dumped, black front lip (no idea wat brand, looked sick) and black wingtip spoiler. Seen him around a lot. Has black sportivo badge where VVTi was. Probli not on forums. Shame. Looks like vinh has some competition. lol John

Spotted 4 ZRE's last night going to a carwash around midnight. One crazy mercedes chasing them. And later on around 2am, 2 ZRE's and a white TRD ZRE was at a kebab joint freezing their asses off.

17,500km. Got my 20k service coming up. Might get them to check it out. The gated mechanism? Yes i do. I thought it was because i was doing it quickly but i did it slowly over and over again. Still squeaks. :(

I've just noticed today while i had my music down that when i put my reverse gear in it squeaks. Its a very annoying sound and doesnt feel too good. I've been doing it heaps just to make sure it was making the noise and sounds like its coming from the gearbox. But the thing is, it only makes that squeak when i try to put the reverse gear up to lock it in. The rest of the gears are fine, just reverse. Gearbox oil might help? Anyone have any thoughts? John

Niceee. Old school. Some of these old classics go hard for a long time, just need to fix a few little things here and there. Much more appreciation for it at the end of the day too i guess. I wanted to get 18's but i'm settling for 17's due to the extra 1k i gota fork out for it. Having a small prang didnt help either. Almost got enough for wheels and tyres. I'm hoping in 2 weeks. :D See you on the low side soon Peter!! No more 4x4!

Is it really that loud? Seems like your really trying to silence it down hardcore. I know it does improve performance, but only a couple of kw's, not that massive of a power jump. Good work anyway.

1. What are some of the best fuel scores people have got? (ltrs/100kms) I normally hit 560km and fill up with only 2 bars. But i heard with the last 2 bars i can get another 100km. Mixed driving conditions 2. Do you ever use 6th gear? Yes. Mainly on highway driving otherwise its a bit laggy under 100klm/h And when i hit 160klm/h once. :P 3. Is the "drive-by-wire" slow to respond?, and did it take some getting used too? Yes. It takes some getting used to but after a while you learn to drive it smoothly applying very little accelerator to take off. 4. Is it worth getting a front strut tower brace? If so, which one and how much? Yes. It improves handling and so you dont feel like your in a boat. Some boys have gotten the C-One bar. Which i will also get. 5. If you get your car serviced at toyota, is it really worth it? and do they also try to slip in something in that isn't on the list? Yes its worth it because its genuine and toyota guys are doing the work. Dont know about slipping something in tho. I'll ask them to slip in a turbo at my 20,000? 6. Finally, are you happy with your purchase? Any little things that have been painful? Yes very happy. I've had over a year of problem free driving and much more to come. GO ZR'S! I MEAN ZRE'S!
