Ash, an intake pipe from TRD will be pricey, however there are many other brands that are pretty much the same and the price will range from 250 (very rare) to high 400s delivered, most u'd average about 300ish, proven and popular brands the guys have tried are: AEM (danz) , injen (lucio_libre, spec_black), simota (one or 2 floating around somewhere - this one ain't so good) . as for the 15kw gain... WE WISH! u'd be lucky to get 5kw out of the intake by itself. (as seen in recent dyno day results) but combine it with the right header, exhuast system... wow (see danz's dyno day results) Another alternative is a short ram intake - which gives u better low end (a little) + throttle response but needs some heat shielding done to be really really effective. talk to vitagen about this, he's done a decent job out of a blitz kit i think. oh, and i run a modded (cut) wrx short ram, sounds good in description, but didn't perform that good on the dyno. :( welcome to the club

If you mean the "glass bits" tinted like, then talk to danyuther (He DIYed it), but as long as your lights are still visible as normal (i.e. when thye come on they're still decently visible) then it should be ok. If you mean the inside backing plastic to be black then have a look at eddy_torrent's car, or vitagen (<- good ricer!). Give Cybercentury a buzz, they should be able to find you a lot of the stuff you need (lots of range but may not be the cheapest)

HMm... I'll prob rock up around 10ish (i love far far away). The new catback won't arrive in time anyhw so i'll just settle for a baseline read. And the award for the most chromed up rolla goes to *drum roll* Well, not me i guess. I'm sure i can fit more chrome in without looking tacky.

Hmmm that might make the chrome door handles work! But still, lets see if we can't track down the chrome sides first eh? Well, anyone? Or perhaps recommend cars that do have chrome side strips i can pry off (or buy from wreckers?) Relos that work in a chroming factory that will aid me in the next evolutino of the bling bling hilux-rolla?

:lo: Yeah mintos, Going the chrome finishing on the car and chrome handles might look a bit funny with the black side strips. But my aim is to get: Chrome Side strips Chrome Seca panel (that bit where the hatch handle is?) Colour coded handles and that should do it. Autosalon here i come! edit: Oh and chrome rings/bezels on the circley bits in the instrument cluster
