  1. just the jips of it, 19mm on the tentioner, turn it clockwise from memory, that will slackn the belt tentions so u can get it off.
  2. should be sweet now, just recheck it later tonight, when cooled down, cap off, u might find its still all the way full, or slightly lower, top it up then thats it
  3. actually from doing my own clutch, and driving other peoples car exedy have a lighter pedal but a heavier pressure plate, and smaller friction point, but yes excellent clutch for a daily driver also, yes clutch fluid is easy to change, the way i do it is, drain it via 24mm bolt on the bottom. - tighten it back up remmove the 17mm bolt on the 5/6th gear housing i believe. remove the reverse switch ( 27mm ? cant memba ) fill ya oil via the reverse switch hole ( 2.7L - 3.0L ? approx ) till it comes out of the side hole once it comes out, stop, put the bolt back in the side of the box, and put the reverse switch back in. degrease it, run it, check for leaks, R/T .. if the steps are wrong someone fix it for me or something
  4. champion! i'll do that tomorrow, hopefully toyota have some in stock :) also i heard from someone that toyota long life coolant (red) isn't too friendly on rubber... he said that ford used to use red coolant until it did the same thing and they changed to the green coolant. he said the dye is the culprit. how accurate is this i wonder? full of s**t. The toyota red coolant is awesome. Remember when you remove that plug it will basically drain your whole radiator, so be prepared for that and you'll also have to refill and burp the system afterwoods. can i plug the holes with my fingers while my wife changes the o-ring on the tap? LOL also can i drain the fluid in icecream containers and use it again? of course the fluid must not be contaminated of course you can put your finger in the hole while your wife changes the rubber
  5. dry as a bone. only issue i had was a w/pump last year, red crust building up under the pulley, replaced it, changed coolant, fine ever since, no issues with radiator, over flow bottle, hoses, thermostat, pump, heater core *taps woood* *breaks wood* *keeps wood in his pocked* darn car !
  6. lol i was going to post the same thing, head, manifolds, cams, sump, oil pump, injectors lol, ( - the block ).

  12. welcome to the forums what do you mean you crunch 3rd?
  13. your radio dim light would of connected to one of the lights in the dash, so when your lights are turned on your radio dims, yes? you can try d/c that, and give your parkers a go. since its 08 you still covered under 3 years warranty? if it was my car id check power at the bulb, & earth. if there is no power follow it back to the power source. check the operation of the switch with a multimeter. hard to say where to start without being there..
  14. k, 1. does ur dash lights work when u turn your parkers on with your stalk? if they do, more than likely ur switch is good ( havnt/dont know the wiring diragram ) 2. d/c the condensation taillight/headlight and check the fuse/replace it. then check the lights.
  15. Adrian, I did the time trust me.. That was ages ago and I've changed trust me, I don't want to go into why but I have, if ur a fly in my car us think FFS hurry up grandma..

  17. its not the guys fault that installed it... thats why u need to ask if he includes parts and labour warranty, not just warranty on the parts... u may have to pay labour but the parts will be under warranty.. again depends if exedy offers parts and labour warranty.... ask him!! again not his fault the part stuffed up... its hard to install it dodgy ie backwards ...
  18. +1, pressure plate forks will make it real hard to see clutch plate with a camera Also if the input shaft is lose? That would be the circlip on the centre bearing for input shaft.. This circlip sits under gear 5 assembly. In the outer gearbox assembly, but doubt it's that.. Som1 correct me if I'm wrong
  19. something tells me shock, when motor rocking movement through the driveshaft goes to hub then shock, im outa ideas unless im in the car listening
