  1. Wait what? Why touch the charcoal canister? All you would of done was had to block the vacuum hose that controls the flap in the stock air box...
  2. How do u know it's syncros ? Is your clutch disengaging 100% ? Where is your friction point ? How many km on your car ??
  3. I'd assume the calipers to fit over the new rotor with new pads. Hub more than likely is the same. I'm on my iPhone so I can't see your info on the left what car you have?
  4. Degrease it down and recheck where it's leaking, remember to start low and follow it to the highest point
  5. eat your weetbix a few minutes earlier in the morning lol
  6. So u burn/ride the clutch with abit more rpm... Lol just chill for a few mins while it warms up..
  7. Have fun. The clock is ticking you have 2 hrs to remove lol
  8. O if u wanna send some $ and postage u can have my stockies lol
  9. I've got stock Shocks and springs here in the garage but no mounts at thr top, their both leaking tho... Hack what up Dave ?
  10. Sorry I thought it was 2 different people Have fun with the new clutch ! :) & let us know what you pay
  11. I don't see why not if the new one doesn't come with springs
  12. I wouldn't change the clutch for the hell of it. I've done about 10 gearbox changes in my mates track car and I still hate doing it. I'm not just gonna pull mine out for fun. He said slipping so there is a reason, don't be a tight ***** and pay the 350 or do it yourself. Dnt forget oil and clutch parts, and u shouldn't get done clutch fluid cause you don't have to take off the slave cyl.
  13. really? it sounds a bit steep for labour only :/ I charge at my work 110/hr & mate I can tell ya it won't be a 2hr job for customers. When I did my gearbox rebuild, I started 8am, by 9:50am smoko time it was on my bench with a bearing puller on it pulling the 6th gear off.. Off, new clutch, on, I'd price the customer 5 hours. Just incase I run into trouble like snapped bolt or something so if I go under time I obviously charge less cause we stamp on & off jobs so customers and warranty see the labour, not a bullshiet time. 350? Jump on it. I'd charge that in my backyard private job driveway warranty.
  14. 350? That's cheap And no you dont have to remove the frame and no it's not a headache it's easy, gearbox out maybe 2 hours... Jack and stands.... Driveshafts out, wiring, shift linkages, mounts and it's out I use a block of wood and support the motor under the frame cause u will only be having 1 mount supporting the motor.
  15. yeh but you can see the cables move at the gearbox side when you move the gear selector in the car, its a free inspection u can do to see if the cables faulty ... but okay let us know what it is...
  16. There is alot more glass than you can see my friend... It attatches to the window regulator...
  17. U lost all gears ? So u only had 1 3 5 .. Top row ? Now none.. Well those gears use separate selector forks. ( 1 2 ) ( 3 4 ) ( 5 6 ) ... Check that your selector assembly is moving when you select gears with ur gear stick. Sounds like ur gearshift assembly is carked it or ur selector housing on the box.. Pretty sure I have a spare ..
  18. What was the condition of the fluid? Clear/clean/red or silver haha Just do a pump already
  19. Hydrometer if it's a Maintenance battery Load test with a multimeter. Start the car and measure the voltage, ideally u want it above 10 I reckon if its below that it's lazy... Check charge rate aswell Make sure it doesn't have a dead cell..
  20. Not sure if someone has asked before but who services it and what oil is used? What Grade oil
