Throttle body service, plugs good? No leaking injectors? Easy to start after a while ??

Only reverse? So gears 1-6 don't slip? You mention really loud? So it revs but hardly moves.. ? Who did the clutch and what clutch Also.. How were the selector cables removed? Just at the bush at the end of the cable and the bracket that holds both cables ( 3 bolts ) removed that way? I say that because there's a little black plastic sleeve? If ud like to call it that, that goes between the 2 selector sliding mechanisms at the box.. It's hard to say cause the reverse gear runs off a gear between first and 2nd I believe from Memory, & it's a straight cut gear ( it's why it whines loudly in reverse at fast speeds ).. So that being said its not like it can be partially engaged its either in gear or not.. More info.. Plz

There has been so many threads on exhausts actually one very resent if you will scroll down the page.. Search it up. Standard cat is high flow as is, I had to replace mine cause the centre plate on the down pipe from extractors to cat broke and blew through the cat makin it rattle..

Pull ur boot off the gear stick and have a peek! Or get someone to change gears for ya, and look inside the engine bay and determine if the selector is moving ! ie cables...
