  1. Looking pretty tidy, but needs moar low! You need to come to our next lil get together n show off ;) Theres a decent cruise next week if your interested.
  2. kk. Didnt know our 1ZZ's where less powerful then others. I knew the 2ZZ was 141kw but I never did the conversion to HP, just assumed it was 180hp like the yanks.
  3. 40kw even, not just 40HP.... 1zz = 140hp and 2zz = 180hp... dunno where you got 40kw more from! As for selling up to a supra, bear in mind its a -much- different car. Your going from a FWD revvy 4 banger to a big heavy RWD turbo 6. Mind you, so did I.
  4. ZZT-231 Celica is what I would go for as well. Mechanically its essentially a 2 door sportivo, but it has independent rear suspension whereas the sportivo doesnt. If you want a hatchback tho... its either this or a Civic TypeR.
  5. Be cheaper to sell your current rolla and buy a Sportivo, 40hp more + 6sp manual.
  6. If it is a import, unregistered and has no compliance plates then no, you cant register it.
  7. Copied from OzCelica: I went on their last open cruise and it was actually pretty good, lots of different cars, plenty of time to talk **** etc. I'll be there with a couple of OzCelica peeps... despite having a Supra now and not a Celica haha.
  8. Congrats on the sale, you think whoever got it will join TOCAU? Or not the sort...
  9. Production times hmmm... 1 day to build one (if that). 1 day to test it (if that). A week to sort out paint etc. Ages to ship. Just a rough guess.
  10. Left it sitting there while I took out mums Suzuki Swift for some clutch practice (for work). I miss driving a manual a bit now... hmmm manual conversion time on the Supra!?!
  11. Hmmm, what sort of people are in this club? I'm not interested in hanging out with another lot of PerthStreetScene or BoostCruisin wannabe's (ie. generally dickheads and bogans).
  12. Width of the wheel is very important when choosing the tyre, so you better find out before you get tyres!
  13. Very nice, I had a set of these on my old Celica before I crashed it, I love these wheels!
  14. Who knows, if you join, it might just start off a nice flood of newer cars coming in.
  15. Hmmm now to put this without annoying Andy haha... TECCWA has at least one 'event' a month where people can catch up or do something etc... however currently its full of slightly older cars, no new camrys or aurions n stuff (couple of older ones iirc), that said, we want stuff like that, diversity and all. That said, TOCAU meets are a little bit more... casual. Personally I do both, because I want the advantages of being in a formal club AND the people that are in TOCAU, who rock. It's nearly my turn to organize a meet, just need to think of something to do, I'll make sure to pop it up here. If your interested in TECCWA, keep an eye on the Facebook page or the official website, or join Toymods and keep an eye on the WA events section. Questions about the club are best asked in person.
  16. Ah k, never seen a steering column with a airbag/airbag bits myself so wasn't sure.
  17. Might be you can swap the spiral assy from your currently attached Camry wheel into the Celica one, unless it doesn't currently have an airbag.
  18. If it helps, thats a manual ZZT-231 Celica steering wheel (aka 7th gen). Nice wheels these.
  19. I want a bit more then that (pretty sure I'm selling it for the same price you would) and have just recently got someone whos supposed to be buying it. It's for a ZZT-231 Celica, with hand controller.
  20. I have a like new barely used PowerFC + Commander for a ZZT-231 if your interested.
  21. Calculated my fuel consumption. Pretty much bang on 12L/100km, much better then I thought I was getting. My fuel gauge is sooooo inaccurate.
