  1. Sounds like it is a 4cylinder Gen5 so the price they are asking is a little expensive as spark plugs + changing them is cheap. I would go elsewhere for the service. however, the engine flush could be the coolant flush which is cheap given the time/labour involved + cost of coolant alone.is almost $40. Find another mechanic and get another quote. most will do an.over te phone quote for you.
  2. I just hope that i survive until daylight.
  3. Agreed. Very cool story bro.
  4. Typical. Rare as hen's teeth Brisbane cruise, hot as hell all week and we get rain forecast for the weekend.

  8. Not quite today, but roof + bike racks are back on. I've gotta stop being so lazy.
  9. Yep, Steven linked one on the Ebay Finds forum. It should be a direct bolt on for any 4-spoke Aurion setup.
  10. Hrmmm... black carpet floor interior for $300 shipped... interesting.

      hmmm.... +1 !

  11. LOL! Knowing the G5CFH, with the cams AND the ECU with a tune I won't hit your 172kW.
  12. Yep, bought as is for approximately $450AU posted. Real carbon fibre and thanks for the birthday wishes :)
  13. Only once every 3 months??? :P Any interior shots at all? Trent: Power runs are cheap as chips!
  14. Small update: - Intake cams are cleaned and ready to be installed, likely to be put in before the end of January. We're still unsure whether the ECU will handle the supercharger AND the cams or not. - Have priced up a new ECU, looking at getting an Adaptronic e420d which is suitable for the engine. Will be interesting how much power I can get from the cams, exhaust and supercharger from a proper tune. - Bought a carbon wheel suitable for an Aurion and after some testing it's not quite a straight swap. I have the airbag cover and the wheel (obviously) but will need to get my hands on an airbag and the garnishes and she's ready to be put on.
  15. - If you can get your hands on a set of springs from an Altise/Azura/Ateva that will reduce the 'harshness' of the ride a little. - Lights are very easy to access Good choice in terms of modding. Nothing really available off the shelf so it's damned expensive
  16. 1) - I think this is what you're after? 3) I used to fill with 91 all the time (God help me) and had no running issues at all. Economy used to be around the 500km city mark but slowly deteriorated to about 15L/100km. Putting in 95/98 octane gave me marginal gains. I found with mine: 1) Fitting a modified exhaust system (custom headers, 2.25" catback, Lukey muffler) put the mileage back to around the 12.7-13.2L/100km mark 2) Replacing the fuel filter + on-vehicle injector clean (Lube Mobile) gave me about 40-80km a tank. 4) I never had issues with the suspension, I found the ride to be spot on however I have a soft spot for a stiffer ride. I never found it too be loud though. Reading reviews on the Sportivo they seem to say it is too stiff.
  17. I might bring the bike and go for a leisurely spin along the beach boardwalk
  18. Typical reaction from someone who has bought into something without doing the proper research; and is unwilling to accept it. Caveat emptor - Let the buyer beware
  19. Ouch on the idler mount! I'd bring it to an engineering shop and get them to fabricate one to specifications. It'd still be better than $1600!!! And on the seats issue, I am out of the running. Steven, DJKOR, trentmeyer23, Ghost 5, The Viking and I (team effort) had a play around + inspected the seats and confirmed that the entire mount and rail assembly from the ACV36/MCV36 to ACV40/GSV40 models are very different. I can't even switch the rails and by the time you factor in the extra costs it's not worthwhile. :( So HT has the 'rights' to the seats
  20. Exterior is quite meh (new GS front looks better) but the interior looks amazing. Side note: VF-X, not a big fan of Asian birds but if she was doing that in my bed I wouldn't say no.
  21. Wow that is cheap for 19" and the level of tyre it is.
  22. Will be there i think. Seat exchange, cam inspection and if this missed package is what i think it is... steering wheel.
