  1. It has low km and what appears to be a custom interior. $7k is a little high, but I wouldn't say 'rediculas'.
  2. - power gains from a catback will be small and a set of headers for a 1mz will be expensive, even if you buy the obx (IMO, junk headers) due to shipping - An ECU tune with little modifications using a piggyback setup will give you minimal gains. - A HD clutch is pointless if you aren't tracking it regularly or willing to put some $$$ forward. A certain Viking like fellow has a Gen4 which has done 225,000km (of which a good portion of them were supercharged ones) on the factory clutch. - As jeffy said, a set of lowering springs, rear sway bar, strut tower brace and good tyres will gain you time in the corners. I would also recommend some Poly bushes for your lower steering rack to sharpen your steering. Remember you have a Camry and unless you pour money into it it isn't going to be a performance machine. Secondly and remember this one, you must apply the 2 of 3 points of the 'Quest for power triangle': - Cheap - Power - Reliable You can get power cheaply, but it won't be reliable. You can have reliable power but it won't be cheap. You can have cheap reliability (ie- like a stock Camry) but she ain't going to be powerful.
  3. ^ Probably should have put it toward some English classes.
  4. You're confusing yourself as just before that line you say you can't confirm it is your car. Speak to the bodyshop and see what they say.
  5. Any word on where the Show and She will be held? Have some money i am trying not to spend on other things that i can book accommodation to concrete me in for 2012
  6. If you are going for power gains: none. If you are going for sound: any.
  7. no it isn't. Most cars that are 'allowed' to run e10 can run an e15 quite safely. Anything beyond may cause issues.
  8. http://www.calculatenow.biz/conversions/consumption.php really? I did it the 'hard' way.
  9. Same with most cars RE: Trip computers. Look at the Top Gear tests where they drive the cars to Blackpool to switch the lights on. Traveled much further than the trip computers suggested. My Gen5 V6 Camry, my brother's VE Senator and my mums 08 GS460 does the same thing. Manually calculate your L/km. While not perfect, it's far more accurate than the trip computer. My last 3 tanks have been 12.9/13.2/13.1 L/100km while the trip computer gave me an average that ranged from 14.8L to 15.3L.
  10. For reference, you can never stop swirl marks re-occuring but those are good tips on how to minimise them. If there is friction, there is a chance you will swirl/scratch the one you love.
  11. You can get those results from a good quality wax and a wheel sealant. Report back in 6 more weeks.
  12. Check your Throttle Position Sensor and your EGR system
  13. We still meet every Thursday, around 8pm @ the Loop. Check the first post for details on how to get there. We still don't bite so a newbie should be safe... unless you tease Minty.
  14. That is around the usual price. I use it in my dad's 99 1mz-fe with no problem.
  15. Yep. Valvoline what? Valvoline with SuperSyn? Valvoline Fully Synthetic? Valvoline XLD? Valvoline Engine Armour? Valvoline High Mileage?
  16. Realistically unless you have a Sportivo, the newer Corollas aren't sporty. But who gives a Shiite? It's your car, you do whatever you do to it... for yourself. Not for others. And yes, that even applies to Old Mate who has the 99 excel that has the epic bodykit on it. I don't know many people who mod their car for someone else.
  17. LOL! not with that attitude it Won't.
