Sportivo over the altise. definitely worth the extra. suspension package on the sportivo is much different.

paint protection won't protect you from stone chips. a steel cuirass would be a better solution (albeit hard to.mount). if you have to 'scrub' i have to ask; are you using any products at all? Yes. They will most certainly laugh at you. Short of getting a clear vinyl.wrap you won't have much luck preventing stone chips

weight would be the main reason i think. factory weights there is about 150kg difference. going past weights the Gen5 sportivo will be much better equipped than the Gen4 (unless it is the Touring, where the difference is smaller). It will also handle much better than the Gen4 as well. we have had a Gen4 Conquest V6 and Touring V6 in our family and the Gen5 is much better ibm terms of equipment and features. if you do.choose a Gen5, go te facelift model. Significanty better looking on the inside and more little tweakss as well (power seats etc); mind you i don't particular lay like the exterior changes

Could you be any more incorrect about ethanol blended.fuels? http://www.biofuels.nsw.gov.au/biofuels_faq/e10_fuel_economy Ethanol blended.fuels burn better than a non blended fuel leaving less behind and also act as a cleanser on the fuel system. The downfall is that you may see a slight drop in fuel economy given ethanol has less energy than gasoline.

RDA have only recently released rotors for the TRD Aurion (I have been keeping in contact with someone in the RDA office). I only know of people who have bought the Converted C5 rotors, have them drilled to 5*114.3 and use hubcemtric rings. I don't know if there have been many (let alone any) people who have bought a RDA rotors for the TRD. Metal: I wouldn't worry.

None of the products you have used constitutes a cut and polish. AutoGlym Super Resin Polish is a good finishing polish but doesn't have very much cut in it at all. If you're getting off the shelf stuff, Meguiars Medium cut/ Meguiars Light Cut polish are OK for the price. I wouldn't use them by hand though.

The squeak test is commonly used to check if you have a wax layer remaining. You have probably stripped any remaining particles that were left of Permanon when using the swirl remover and the buffer.

The sticking accelerator pedal issue did not affect any Australian vehicle.
