  1. Get the Nissan then. If either engine has been poorly maintained they are both likely to be duds anyway.
  2. Every song I sung; blame it on love.

  3. 200-300 for a front bar including blending. My local bodyshop is expensive but his work is very goose. 600 is an extreme estimate.
  4. You can eat muesli with water and it tastes the same except it is less milky and tastes yuk.

  6. Could be as simple as the plastic assembly has aged and the plastic bit that holds the door opening cable is broken, which may explain why your door doesn't open from the inside. The bit to replace costs 30 or so and the job takes 20 mins to replace I will link a image later
  7. If you want news from Toyota regarding recalls, check their news site. Not a 3rd party source.
  8. http://news.toyota.com.au/toyota-recalls-camry-camry-hybrid-and-aurion That is why the print method is a Crap way to communicate when you have electronic means.
  9. 3VZ isn't much chop to be honest. You're better off saving the $$$ and buying something newer IMO.

  12. The 1mz has 1 known 'issue' which is the over-sensitive knock sensors. Not really a problem if you aren't boosting it. As Xoom has said, the leak but that's due to time (gasket losing it's sealing ability) and the engine's tilt how it is mounted. A good semi-synthetic oil every change is sufficient and you'll have yourself a very reliable engine.
  13. That Ricer Racer bloke.
  14. I see people throwing around 'facts' but with little to no evidence besides their word. Sounds like Jesus when he was preaching the word of 'The Lord' Edit: Look what happened to him; 4 nails, a thorny crown and a rather large wooden cross.
  15. Fuel filter is easy. i am Crap with my hands and even i have done a filter change.
  16. Rubbish. People set the expectation bar way too high on everything. The customer service side of everything has been amped up to incredible levels and has resultantly pushed everyone's expectations up with it.
  17. No not anyone i think. You might be the first person in history. Seriously though, find another dealer if you think they are not up to scratch but you will get a far better response if you call them.
  18. Remember the Fortitude Valley one screwed up the driveshaft install! I'm just saying you can't make a blanket generalisation and preach it as if it were Gospel. For the first 2 years of being a hoon I took my car to UltraTune Rocklea and I had no issues whatsoever. With regards to the bushes, if they are cracked/broken while you can technically still use them you probably should replace them.
  19. Personally I agree with those above about finding a good local mechanic who runs his own business. I avoid commercial garages (Ultratune, Kmart etc) but most especially avoid Toyota Dealerships. The only reason I would ever take my car to a dealership is for warranty work, and even then only if unavoidable. My Mechanic was a level 3 Toyota Tech, and worked in multiple dealerships across Australia. He left because he could no longer live with what they were doing. Seriously talk to this guy for just 10 minutes and you'd never go to another Toyota dealership for maintenance. For a start people should know that so called 'Service Advisers' get most of their income from commission. They exist to upsell to customers and will stop at nothing to get money out of you. Don't trust them... You can't make a blanket statement like that from one person and preach it as Gospel (much like people did with Jesus). An incredibly small sample size but yet a so definite statement.
