  1. I thought they imported the NZE124 (4WD Auto 1.5 1NZ-FE powered runx) from Japan. Basically just to get the body shell / floor plan to allow them to fit the 4WD running gear ST205 without having to rebuild (ie. bash the crap out of) the FWD monocoupe chasis to accomodate thing like the driveshaft, rear diff ect... Either way it would have cost a crap load of $$$$
  2. Black stock looking Sportivo with GT badges, Bunnings Underwood carpark 5ish this arvo
  3. Firstly I am going to assume you are talking about a corolla and if you are also talking about a current model corolla then the following will apply... The walbro GSS342 fits in the STD pump housing with a little modification to the retaining clip, it flows 255ltrs per hour. If you intend on upgrading your fuel pump you may want to consider switching to a return style fuel system.... which means you will need to run a return line to your tank, replace or modify your current fuel rail to accomodate a return line aswell as a FPR..... But if all you are worried about is fuel consumption them all you really need to do is install an E-manage or some other piggyback ecu that will control youe A/F ratios..... the STD fuel pump is more than adaquate for a modded NA or even lightly boosted 1ZZ or 2ZZ rolla.... Of course if you have a different model then all that really applies out of what i have just typed is "if all you are worried about is fuel consumption them all you really need to do is install an E-manage or some other piggyback ecu that will control youe A/F ratios"

  6. Hahahaha yeah I am obviously so concerned with my post count... a whole 230 posts in over 20 months of membership.... compared to your 760 in less than 3 months Mabye i should take a leaf out of you book and post some useless dribble..... The original topic was answered well before you started posting in the thread.... Otaku had read the thread and thanked the guys who provided the info for him.... and then you came in suggesting something that you had no idea if it would fit or was even similar.... actually looks like you were just trying to offload some stock If you want to discuss this further feel free to PM me about it.... Saves the rest of the forum go'ers having to sift through all this crap
  7. Mabye Shao is sick of spoonfeeding people such as yourself who are obviously too lazy to go and do a bit of research.... Sure this is a forum for sharing information and what not... but when people ask questions that can easily be answered if they just did a little research.... I dont blame him at all for being Blunt.... Obviously people just want to increase their post counts.....
  8. CES is an acronym More Commonily it stands for "Custom Exhaust System" but as Stoopid head has pointed out it is also an abbreviation for "Custom Exhaust Specialists" an exhaust shop up here in Brissy that has produced a catback bolt-on exhaust for the sportivo, which several of the members have. Personally I dont see the problem with fellow forum member's stating they have a "CES" because the fact is they do and so do I, a "Custom Exhaust System" now if they had been saying "I have a "Custom Exhaust Specialists" system on my car" when they didnt then sure have a go at them.... But the fact is the acronym "CES" could stand for anything almost.... my 2c

  14. We've done the same single to twin piston upgrade on 4 different cars now, and it's made a fantastic difference to all the cars :D The first was my AE93 SX with 20 valve 4age
  15. Hey Bill, I will do my best to explain.... Firstly the pads size of these is almost double, which obviously increases surface area of the pads in relation to what clamps the disc...ie. more friction area. ( see attached pic, not really the best pic) Basically the more pistons the better the distribution of pressure across the pad, Increased fade resistance and more progressive pedal feel and more pedal control. These are still only " floating " type caliper as opposed to your " monoblock " type which are generally 4 or more piston (pistons on each side of the caliperfor both pads..which increases all the above points again even more so) Monoblock 4 piston Hope this helped :D
  16. Upgraded My Front Brakes today :D
