  6. Only just noticed this post.... Didn't realise I was Anti-CES... Personally the only issue I ever had was with the whole advertising/promoting that was being done before CES was a forum sponsor.... which was against the forum rules, and the fact that it wasn't Trevor or anyone who worked there doing the promoting/advertising I fail to see how that makes me Anti-CES.... if anything i think it makes me Anti-"Forum rules breakers" But hey Azza if thats what you think good for you The reason I hadnt comitted to the dyno day yet (not that I can imagine why my participation would interest you so much) are because 1. as Jason has just pointed out he has just bought a house and will be moving that weekend, so obviously I will be helping him move. 2. We have been rather busy at work over the past few months, with a lot of wekend work setting up/upgrading the one of our clients servers/racks/networks at all their branches throughout brisbane... so yeah thats why I didnt commit earlier... hope this is a good enough explaination for you... :P
  7. mabye try qouting a few of the part #'s in this thread http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...34&hl=front to toyota and see what they say... Knowing toyota though the response will probably be "those #'s arent in my system"

  14. I think an Off Topic Section is needed because as BigBum said the forum is starting to get clogged up with alot of useless non car related crap.... eg. King of the hill, have the final say, picture number hunt game, are you EMO, is jessica alba hot, pringles, evolution of dance, texas hold'em, Xmen ect.... And If the section does go ahead any posts in the section should deffinately not count towards your post count.... If the only reason people are posting all this useless info is to increase their post count I have just one question....Why???? do you really beleive that if you have a high post count you are more important/respected/admired..... well mabye in the eyes of your fellow forum whores but thats about it.... On other forums which I frequent/Admin if we find that people are intentonally posting crap in the NON Off Topic forums just to increase their count we reset them back to zero and give them a warning, if they continue they receive a short ban.... this is very effective B) Also as the forum database grows so does the costs $$$ for hosting/running ect.... Of course i dont know if that is the case for this forum but i would assume it is... anyway thats my 2c worth
  15. QLD: Brisbane Facelift black stock looking sportivo 325-*** heading south on the M1 and took the Logan Rd exit
  16. To run it as they have in the pic you will need to ditch your MAF and run a MAP sensor, which means you will have to convert to a full aftermaket ECU because the PFC cannot run it.... The way to get around this to build a plenum and enclose the throttle boddies and this would enable you to keep the MAF.... Just like on the Silver top 4AGE 20V's.... Or like this guy has done on his turbo 1zz http://www.cardomain.com/ride/242344 But then you will loose all your Blingy rice factor.... for the expense that would have to be outlaid and the minimal gains you would see ... it is not worth it Here is a link to a thread about this car/ITB setup from newcelica.org from march... http://www.newcelica.org/forums/showthread.php?t=206895

So all up $55 delivered to my door.... was originally expecting them to take about 2 weeks..... but they arrived in 6 yes SIX days....... 21. Well according to their add... I had some custom Magnecor Plug leads mad up for my previous 4AGE 20 Valve and to be honest it didn't notice any difference.... I am sure there are probably benifits for using them in race cars but for a street car I dont think you will notice much anyhow.. Either way for your 1ZZ or 2ZZ corolla all they are going to do is waste your money... as the ZZ's use 'coil on plug' ie. they dont have plug leads as the coils are built into the spark plug connector :)
