  1. ZZE corollas dont use Ignition/spark plug leads, they have "Coil on Plug" ie. each spark plug has its own ignition coil built into the spark plug cap... so unless you are going to change your whole ignition system and convert to coilpacks there is no point buying ignition leads unless you want to hang them from your rear veiw mirror or something ;)... Basically all you can really do for the ZZE's is to replace the spark plugs... do a search for iridum plugs, i think Danz did a comparison a while back between a few diff plug types... Edit: Beaten to it.... damn my slow typing :P
  2. Congrats Craig, Glad to hear everything went well and Xanthe and Danella are both doing so well... All the best mate Mark

  5. Hi, The AE8x series corolla had generally had the 86kw bigport tvis 4age (also known as the blue top due to the blue writing on the cam covers) although there are some very late model ae8x's twinkys that did have a version of the 100kw smallport 4age ( red cam cover writing). For info on costing of rebuilds ect i suggest you take a look over at www.twincam.org as there is a wealth of 4Age knowledge over there. :)
  6. Do you have a link for the Ebay badges? Because the only ones i can find are just the normal stick on ones not with the grille specific tabs/prongs and the clips... hench why they are much cheaper I quess... As a comparisson i found a similar badge on Ebay US with the prongs/tabs and it was 17 USD plus 6USD postage withing America...not sure what they would charge for international...
  7. That's one good looking exhaust
  8. I am pretty sure it was about $30 a meter and its a 1.4 or 1.8 meter roll.... i will try and find the receipt tonight

  11. Woohooo two sightings in one day :D Ash you wouldnt have happened to have been in the black VRX Magna would you?
  12. thats not a cam pulley, it is a lightweight crank pulley(or harmonic balencer, whichever you prefer) and either a alternator or waterpump pulley.... I would be very reluctant to use one of these as the stock crank pulleys are the size and weight they are for a reason... I have seen instanceses where people have installed these and damaged their engines due to the change in mass and change of balance in the bottom end of the engine. Any gains that you would see (imho none) would be very minimal.... its mainly a bling thing.... An adjustable cam gear for 1zz/2zz's woul look nothing like that... as the 1zz/2zz use a timing chain it would look more like the silver /black one in this picture But i dont know if anyone has produced one for the toyota zz engines....
  13. Kebab is the NSW franchise of QLD's purcell performance ;) just look at the logo
  14. Spotted Mr. North on Logan road turning onto Kessels abot 30 mins ago
  15. I think it would be a waste of time and money taking it to a carbon fibre specialist as the grille isnt carbon fibre as have been pointed out by other members in the past. If your not confident in doing the prep work and reclearcoating it yourself just take it to any reputable panel beater and they should be able to fix it up for you... no need to try and find a specialist....

  17. You are soooooo Lazy..... :P VIC Roads approved engineers
  18. 12mm x 1.50... most likely cone seat.... but it could depend on your wheels (STD toyota should be cone)
  19. Not really sure what you mean by "cap" but if you have a ZZE122 normal corolla ie. not a sportivo, The rotors in this group buy will not fit on you car with the standard calipers... Also the ZZE122 1ZZ-FE front rotors are 255mm not 258. Both DBA and RDA make replacement front rotors for the ZZE122. The DBA part number is 712s (the "s" is for slotted) not sure what the RDA part # is but if you give them a call and qoute the the DBA # they can cross reference it very easily...
  20. Danz Is Correct.... How can you possibly "Benchmark" without measuring?????
  21. it is alright as far as i know but if you have stock 1ZZ wheels they may not fit, can anyone confirm? I put my mum's stock 15's on and the caliper clearence was fine. They were 1 of the Toyota option rims, but I doubt it makes a difference. Does anyone know if the caliper mount can take the rotor increase? Jason or Mark might know. These discs cannot be used on a 1ZZ rolla with the standard 1ZZ calipers... it may be possible to fit if you were to convert to the sportivo calipers (cant confirm this tho as i havent compared the sportivo calipers to normal corolla ones)...
  22. it's all on the Exedy web site which is extremey simple to navagate ;) Dam you Dylan.... giving away my cut and paste secrets like that
