I think I remember reading here a while ago that if you don't use the genuine tow bar for the Aurion you will have this problem.

lmao, you had a kicker as well? Looks like we both started off with a kicker sub. I had one too. It was ***** weak and I hated even turning it on. Yeah also northern suburbs here :D

Looks like I'm posting here once again. So I bit the bullet and got off my lazy ***** and decided to finally clean the car. At first I was going to do a simple wash and dry but I thought nah, screw that I'll go all out and detail it. So what was done: Two washes, had to do it twice because the car was so dirty the first time round wasn't even enough to cut through the oils/dirt/mud/dust. Then I used the mothers clay bar kit, washed again for the third time and used meguirs nxt gen 2,0 wax with the motheres wax attack buffer then to top it off tyre shined all tyres. Today I'm going to to detail the interior as last night it took me almost 5 hours to clean the outside so was too tired to continue. Car is looking amazing and body work is smooth as a babies bottom

How much did you pay for the trd part?

Has anyone ever thought about picking up body kit parts for there body kitless Aurion from a scrap yard? I'm guessing it would be hard to find but if you keep looking/asking daily for the same colour of your car. Go there and part out the bodykit and bolt on straight away to your car, already painted and everything since it'll be the same colour. Any thoughts?

WOwwwwwwwwwwwww, I haven't cleaned the car since October! Work has been extremely busy unfortunately, but thankfully I'm now on a one month break from work after the Christmas break. I think I'll give it the best wash/detail inside out it deserves really soon. Dust off the mother clay bars, meguiars waxes and polishes, mothers wax attack buffer and all that good stuff and fall in love with her once again :)

Why? Because... This thread is now pointless. Yeah agreed, Is the very reason im very rarely on here anymore. If it wasnt for a notification to say i had a PM i wouldnt of bothered to see what was new lol Pretty disappointing though. It was great back in it's hey day but it's really started to die out after many regulars and guys who had awesome Aurions sold up and never returned/hardly returned and with that their knowledge went as well. My Aurion ain't going no where any time soon so I'll wonder around these forums here and there :)
